Setup

1. Battery Installation

The remote requires two AA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote.
  2. Slide the battery cover off.
  3. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align with the indicators inside the compartment.
  4. Replace the battery cover securely.

2. Device Programming

Your universal remote can be programmed using either Automatic Code Search or Direct Code Entry. It is preprogrammed for immediate use with Samsung TVs and Roku streaming media boxes (not compatible with Roku Streaming Sticks).

Automatic Code Search

This method scans through codes to find the correct one for your device.

  1. Turn on the device you wish to program (e.g., TV, Blu-ray player).
  2. Press and hold the desired device button (e.g., TV, BLU-RAY) on the universal remote until the indicator light illuminates.
  3. While holding the device button, press and hold the POWER button. The indicator light will blink.
  4. Release both buttons. The indicator light will remain lit.
  5. Point the remote at the device and repeatedly press the POWER button (or PLAY for DVD/VCR) until the device turns off.
  6. Once the device turns off, press the ENTER button to save the code. The indicator light will turn off.
  7. Test the remote's functions with the device. If some functions do not work, repeat the process to find a better code.

Direct Code Entry

This method allows you to enter a specific code from the code list (refer to the manufacturer's website for a complete code list).

  1. Turn on the device you wish to program.
  2. Locate the 4-digit code for your device's brand in the code list.
  3. Press and hold the desired device button (e.g., TV, BLU-RAY) on the universal remote until the indicator light illuminates.
  4. Enter the 4-digit code using the number buttons. The indicator light will turn off after the last digit is entered.
  5. Test the remote's functions with the device. If the device does not respond or some functions do not work, try another code from the list for your brand.

Operating Instructions

Multi-Device Control

This remote can control up to four different audio and video devices. To switch control between devices, simply press the corresponding device button (TV, BLU-RAY, STRM, AUX) at the top of the remote. The indicator light will confirm the selected device.

Primary Audio Control

The primary audio control feature allows you to adjust the volume (VOL+ / VOL-) regardless of which device is currently selected. This is particularly useful when using a soundbar or audio receiver for all sound output.

  • Blu-ray/DVD Open/Close: Dedicated button for disc tray operation.
