6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering On and Initial Setup
Once all connections are secure, plug the power cord into the wall outlet. The unit does not have a dedicated on/off switch and is designed to remain on when connected to power. The LED indicators will illuminate.
6.2 Adjusting Input Gain
Use the Input Gain knob (5) for each channel to set the overall input level. Adjust this to achieve a strong signal without clipping. The 4-segment LED ladder display (2) will help monitor the output level. Avoid the CLIP indicator (1) from lighting up consistently, as this indicates signal distortion.

6.3 Equalization Adjustment (15-Band EQ)
The EQ-215 features 15 frequency bands per channel, allowing for precise sound shaping. Use the individual faders (3) to boost or cut specific frequencies. The Boost/Cut button (7) allows you to switch the fader range between +/-6dB and +/-12dB for finer or broader adjustments.

6.4 Low-Cut Filter
Press the Low Cut button (6) to activate the low-cut filter. This feature helps to attenuate unwanted low-frequency sounds such as wind noise, floor rumble, or electrical hum, resulting in clearer audio output.

6.5 EQ Bypass Switch
The Independent EQ button (4) acts as an EQ bypass switch. Pressing this button activates or deactivates the equalization function for the respective channel. This is useful for comparing the sound with and without equalization.
6.6 Built-in Limiter
The EQ-215 includes a built-in limiter to prevent signal clipping and provide overload protection. This feature automatically cuts off interference at the top or bottom of the output waveform, ensuring a clean signal.
