2. What's in the Box
Before beginning installation, please verify that all components are present in your package:

3. Setup & Installation
3.1 Pre-installation Checks
Ensure your door is compatible with the GHome Smart Lock. It is designed to fit most standard deadbolt spacings for front doors in the United States and Canada. No hard wiring or drilling holes are required for installation.
- Door Thickness: 1 3/8" - 2 3/8" (35mm-55mm)
- Minimum Distance: 2 3/8" / 60mm from door edge to center of bore hole.
- Compatibility: Compatible with single cylinder deadbolts. Not compatible with storm doors.

3.2 Step-by-Step Installation
Installation can be completed in minutes with just a screwdriver. For a visual guide, please refer to the official installation video below.

- Install Deadbolt: Insert the deadbolt latch into the door edge. Ensure the word "TOP" on the deadbolt faces up and the deadbolt is in the retracted state. Secure it with the provided screws.
- Install Exterior Assembly: Pass the connection wire through the button of the cylinder. Align the protruding position of the latch with the concave position of the lock body and insert the exterior assembly.
- Install Mounting Plate: Thread the antenna and power cord through the bottom-left hole of the mounting plate. Place the silicone pad facing the door and secure the mounting plate to the door with screws. Do not overtighten.
- Install Interior Assembly: Connect the RF antenna and the front and rear power communication link cables. Insert the lock cylinder paddle into the unlock knob. Ensure the knob remains vertical.
- Secure Interior Assembly: Secure the interior assembly to the mounting plate with the provided screws.
- Insert Battery: Fully charge the 10000mAh battery and insert it into the battery compartment of the interior assembly. Close the battery cover.
- Set up Smart Lock: Follow the voice prompts to set up the administrator password and connect the lock to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network via the GHome Smart App.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Unlocking Methods
The GHome Smart Lock offers multiple convenient ways to unlock your door:
- Fingerprint Unlock: The efficient chip and ultra-thin fingerprint film allow for recognition and unlocking in 0.3 seconds with up to 99.99% accuracy. The lock can store up to 50 fingerprints.
- Passcode Unlock: Store up to 100 user passcodes for various users like family, friends, or service providers.
- Physical Key Unlock: Two physical keys are included for traditional unlocking, accessible by lifting the cover on the exterior unit.
- APP Control: Unlock your door remotely from anywhere using the GHome Smart App.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Management
The GHome Smart Lock is powered by a 10000mAh rechargeable battery, ensuring long-lasting operation. When the battery is low, you will receive a notification via the app.
- Charging: The battery can be removed and charged via a Type-C port.
- Emergency Charging: In case of a completely drained battery, the lock features a Type-C emergency charging port on the exterior unit, allowing temporary power to unlock the door.

- Connectivity Issues: Ensure your Wi-Fi router is within range and operating on a 2.4GHz frequency. Restarting your router and the lock (by temporarily removing the battery) can often resolve connection problems. Check the app for Wi-Fi signal strength.
- Fingerprint Recognition Failure: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint if the issue persists. Ensure the sensor is clean.
- Passcode Not Working: Double-check that you are entering the correct passcode. Verify the passcode in the app. If it's a temporary passcode, ensure it hasn't expired.
- Battery Drains Quickly: Check for excessive activity (e.g., frequent motion detection alerts in a high-traffic area). Adjust motion sensitivity settings in the app. Ensure the battery is fully charged before use.
- Doorbell Not Ringing: Check the connection of the indoor chime unit. Ensure the chime is plugged in and within range of the lock. Verify settings in the app.
- Motion Detection Not Working: Ensure the PIR sensor is not obstructed. Check motion detection settings and sensitivity levels in the app.
