7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Clock does not turn on. | Not connected to power, faulty cable, or power adapter. | Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the clock and a working USB power source. Try a different cable or power adapter. |
| Time/settings reset after power loss. | No backup battery feature. | This is normal behavior for this model. Reset the time and alarms manually after power is restored. Consider connecting to an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) or a power bank for continuous operation. |
| Alarm does not sound. | Alarm not activated, volume too low. | Check if the alarm icon is displayed. If not, activate the alarm (see 'Activating/Deactivating Alarms'). Increase the alarm volume. |
| Display is off. | Power saving mode is active. | Touch the clock or make a sound to wake the display. To deactivate power saving mode, briefly press the power button. |
| Buttons are unresponsive. | Temporary software glitch. | Disconnect and reconnect the power cable. If the issue persists, use a thin object (like a paperclip) to press the Reset button on the back of the clock. Note that this will clear all settings. |
