4.1 Initial Assembly

The RT15 comes with most components pre-assembled. Attach the handle by aligning it with the main body and securing it with the provided fasteners. Ensure all connections are firm.

4.2 Attaching the Brush/Pad

To attach the 14" disc brush or burnishing pad, tilt the machine back slightly. Align the brush/pad with the drive hub and twist until it locks securely into place. Ensure it is centered and fully engaged.

4.3 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the lead-acid battery. The charging process typically takes 6-8 hours. Connect the charger to the machine's charging port and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The LCD screen may indicate charging status.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Filling the Solution Tank

Open the cap of the 3-gallon solution tank and fill it with clean water. Add an appropriate amount of recommended floor cleaning solution according to the solution manufacturer's instructions. Do not overfill.

5.2 Starting the Machine

Turn the key to the ON position. The digital LCD screen will illuminate, displaying the current working status and battery level. Press the brush activation button to start the brush rotation and the vacuum button to activate the squeegee suction.

5.3 Cleaning Procedure

Push the machine forward at a steady pace. The brush will scrub the floor, and the solution will be dispensed. The squeegee at the rear will then collect the dirty water into the sewage tank. For heavily soiled areas, you may need to make multiple passes or allow the solution to dwell briefly before scrubbing.

5.4 Emptying Tanks

After cleaning, or when the sewage tank is full, turn off the machine. Detach the 4-gallon sewage tank and empty its contents into an appropriate drain. Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water. The solution tank can also be emptied and rinsed if there is leftover solution.

  • Clean the squeegee blades and check for wear. Replace if damaged or worn.
  • Wipe down the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.

6.2 Battery Care

  • Recharge the battery after each use, even if not fully depleted, to prolong battery life.
  • Do not leave the battery completely discharged for extended periods.
  • Store the machine in a cool, dry place when not in use.

6.3 Brush and Squeegee Replacement

The cleaning brush is easy to replace. Simply twist to unlock and remove the old brush, then align and twist the new brush into place.
