Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Quick Clothing Fixer:
- Cleaning: After each use, gently wipe the needle and the gun's exterior with a soft, dry cloth to remove any fabric fibers or debris.
- Needle Care: Always ensure the steel needle is clean and free from obstructions. If the needle becomes dull or bent, replace it with a new one.
- Storage: Store the Micro Stitching Gun in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Use the protective cap for the needle when not in use.
6. Troubleshooting
Refer to the following common issues and their solutions:
- Stuck Needle/Glue Pin: If a glue pin becomes jammed or the needle gets stuck, stop pressing the handle immediately. Carefully remove the steel needle by turning the knob counter-clockwise from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock. Then, clean any jammed glue pins from the mechanism. Reinstall the needle and try again.
- Fastener Not Dispensing: Ensure the strip of glue pins is correctly loaded and seated in the slot. Check if the pins are aligned properly with the needle's path.
- Fastener Not Holding: Verify that the fabric type is suitable for the device (refer to Section 4). Ensure the needle is fully penetrating all layers of fabric before pressing the handle.
