9-in-1 Functions:

General Cooking Steps:

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Place desired ingredients and liquids into the inner pot. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
  2. Secure the Lid: Place the lid on the cooker, align the arrow on the lid with the arrow on the base, and rotate clockwise until it locks.
  3. Set Steam Release Valve: For pressure cooking, ensure the steam release valve is in the "Sealing" position. For non-pressure functions, it can be in "Venting."
  4. Select Function: Press the button corresponding to your desired cooking function (e.g., "Arroz" for rice, "Carnes" for meat).
  5. Adjust Time/Temperature (if applicable): Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the cooking time or temperature if the default setting is not suitable.
  6. Start Cooking: The cooker will typically start automatically after a few seconds or after pressing a "Start" button (if available). The display will show "On" or a preheating indicator before the countdown begins.
  7. Pressure Release:
    • Natural Release: Allow the pressure to dissipate naturally. This is recommended for foamy foods or large cuts of meat. The float valve will drop on its own.
    • Quick Release: Carefully turn the steam release valve to the "Venting" position. Steam will rapidly escape. Caution: Keep hands and face away from the steam. Only use quick release for foods that won't foam up.
  8. Open Lid: Once the float valve has dropped, indicating all pressure is released, rotate the lid counter-clockwise and lift it away from you to avoid residual steam.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure the longevity and safe operation of your pressure cooker.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Inner Pot: The stainless steel inner pot is dishwasher safe. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
  3. Lid: Remove the sealing ring and anti-block shield from the lid. Wash the lid, sealing ring, and anti-block shield with warm, soapy water. Ensure the steam release valve and float valve are clear of food debris.
  4. Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
  5. Storage: Store the pressure cooker with the lid inverted on the inner pot to prevent the sealing ring from compressing and losing its shape.
