1. Introduction

The ASAHOM S1050 16.4ft Extension Lights are designed to expand your existing ASAHOM S1050 RGBCW Permanent Outdoor Lighting system. This extension light segment provides an additional 16.4 feet (5 meters) of lighting, allowing for greater coverage and customization of your outdoor lighting setup. Please note that this product is an extension and does not include a power adapter or control box, which are required for operation and are part of the main ASAHOM S1050 lighting kit.

3. Compatibility

This extension light segment is only compatible with ASAHOM S1050 series permanent outdoor lights. It is not compatible with ASAHOM S1040, S1070, or S1080 series permanent outdoor lights.

The ASAHOM S1050 RGBCW permanent outdoor lighting system supports connecting up to a maximum of 12 light segments, allowing for a total length of up to 200 feet.

4. Setup and Installation

1. Safety First: Before beginning installation, ensure that the power supply to your existing ASAHOM S1050 lighting system is disconnected.
2. Prepare the Surface: Clean the installation surface thoroughly with a tissue. Follow up by using the enclosed Adhesion Prep Pad to ensure optimal adhesion for the mounting stickers.
3. Attach Mounting Hardware: Apply the provided VHB gum stickers to the back of each light node. Use the included clips and screws for additional securement.
4. Connect Extension: Splice the extension light segment into your existing ASAHOM S1050 system using the waterproof joints. These joints are typically found every 16.4ft (5m) along the light string.
5. Positioning: Install the lights on eaves, garage, walls, fences, or corridors. For optimal lighting effect, position the lights approximately 2-4 inches away from the wall surface.
6. Pre-Installation Test: Before permanently securing all lights, connect the power and test whether the lights function normally. This allows for adjustments before final installation.

5. Operation

After connecting the extension lights and ensuring power is restored, if the entire light strand does not illuminate correctly or if you have increased or decreased the number of connected light segments, perform the following steps within the control application:

1. Open the ASAHOM control application on your device.
2. Navigate to the main interface of your connected S1050 lighting system.
3. Tap the "..." icon, typically located in the top right corner of the app interface.
4. Select "Light Number Setting".
5. Tap "Refresh" to update the system's light segment configuration.

This action will ensure that the application recognizes the updated length of your light strand and that all segments illuminate as intended.

6. Maintenance

• Lifespan: The LED lights have an estimated lifespan of up to 50,000 hours.
• Operating Temperature: The lights are designed to operate within a temperature range of -4°F to 113°F (-20°C to 45°C).
• Waterproof Rating: The lights are IP67 rated, indicating protection against dust and temporary immersion in water.
• Cleaning: Periodically clean the light surfaces gently with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Ensure power is disconnected before cleaning.

7. Troubleshooting

• Lights Not Illuminating or Partial Illumination: If the lights do not turn on or only partially light up after installation or modification, refer to the "Operation" section (Section 5) and perform the app refresh procedure. Ensure all waterproof joints are securely connected.
• Adhesion Issues: If lights are not adhering properly, ensure the surface was thoroughly cleaned and dried before applying the VHB gum stickers and Adhesion Prep Pad. Use the included mounting clips and screws for a more secure installation, especially on uneven or textured surfaces.
• Flickering Lights: Check all connections for tightness and ensure the power supply is stable. If flickering persists, it may indicate an issue with the main control box or power supply (not included with this extension).
