5. Operating Modes

The Xelletye Beam Moving Head DJ Light offers four primary operation modes, selectable via the 4-digit numeric display and control buttons (MENU, UP, DOWN, ENTER) on the unit's base.

  • 5.1 DMX512 Control: This professional mode allows for precise control over all light functions (pan, tilt, color, gobo, strobe, dimming, halo effects) using a DMX controller. The unit supports 14 DMX channels. Refer to the DMX channel chart in the full instruction manual for detailed programming.
  • 5.2 Sound Activated Mode: The built-in microphone detects ambient sound, allowing the light to synchronize its effects with the music's beat. This mode is ideal for parties and events where dynamic, music-driven lighting is desired.
  • 5.3 Automatic Mode: The light cycles through pre-programmed patterns and effects automatically. This mode is suitable for quick setup and continuous, varied lighting displays without external control.
  • 5.4 Master-Slave Mode: Connect multiple units via DMX cables. Set one unit as the "Master" and the others as "Slave" units. The Slave units will then mirror the Master's operations, creating a synchronized light show.
