4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

The remote requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included). To install:

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote.
  2. Slide the cover downwards to open.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
  4. Slide the cover back into place until it clicks securely.

4.2. Pairing Instructions

To pair your Griscen Voice Remote Control with your Google Chromecast with Google TV device:

  1. Ensure your Google Chromecast device is powered on and connected to your TV.
  2. On your Google Chromecast device, navigate to Settings > Remotes & Accessories.
  3. Select Pair remote or accessory. Your device will begin searching for nearby Bluetooth devices.
  4. On your new Griscen remote, simultaneously press and hold the Back button (left arrow) and the Home button (house icon) for 8-10 seconds.
  5. The LED light on your remote will start flashing, indicating it is in pairing mode.
  6. Once your remote appears in the list on your TV screen, select it to complete the pairing process.

Note: Only one remote can be paired at a time with your Chromecast device.

  • Circular D-Pad (Top): Navigation (Up, Down, Left, Right) and Select (center button).
  • Back Button (Left Arrow): Returns to the previous screen.

  • Mute Button (Speaker with X): Mutes or unmutes audio.
  • YouTube Button: Direct access to the YouTube application.
