Setup Guide
1. Charging the System
Before first use, fully charge the transmitters, receiver, and charging case.
- Place the transmitters and receiver into the charging case.
- Connect the charging case to a power source using the provided USB-C to USB-A cable and a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
- The LED indicators on the charging case will show the charging status. A full charge for the case takes approximately 2 hours.
- Transmitters provide approximately 7.5 hours of operation, extended to 22 hours with a fully charged case. The receiver operates for up to 9 hours and can be used while charging.

2. Connecting to Your Device
The Lark Max system is compatible with various devices including cameras, smartphones (iPhone, Android), and PCs.

- For Cameras: Use the provided 3.5mm TRS cable to connect the receiver's 3.5mm output port to your camera's microphone input.
- For iPhones: Use the provided USB-C to Lightning cable to connect the receiver's USB-C port to your iPhone.
- For Android Devices: Use the provided USB-C to USB-C cable to connect the receiver's USB-C port to your Android device.

3. Attaching Transmitters
Each transmitter comes with a back clip and a magnetic clip for flexible attachment.
- Attach the transmitter to clothing using the integrated back clip.
- For discreet placement, use the magnetic clip to secure the transmitter under clothing.
- For optimal audio quality, attach the furry windscreen to the transmitter's microphone when recording in windy conditions.
- Alternatively, connect the external Turnstile Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphones to the transmitter's 3.5mm input jack.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- Power On: Open the charging case, and the transmitters and receiver will automatically power on. Alternatively, press and hold the power button on each unit.
- Power Off: Place the units back into the charging case, or press and hold the power button on each unit until it powers off.
2. Pairing
The transmitters and receiver are pre-paired at the factory. If re-pairing is necessary:
- Ensure both the transmitter(s) and receiver are powered on.
- Access the pairing menu on the receiver's AMOLED touchscreen.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to initiate pairing.
3. Internal Recording
Each transmitter has 8GB of built-in storage, allowing for up to 14 hours of uncompressed WAV audio recording.
