5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the alarm clock.
2. Use the provided screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 3 new AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screwdriver.

Note: The alarm clock requires 3 AA batteries for operation. Ensure batteries are inserted correctly to avoid damage.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Setting the Time

1. Press the 'SET' button once to enter time setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
2. Use the 'UP' or 'DOWN' buttons to adjust the hour.
3. Press 'SET' again to move to minute setting. The minute digits will flash.
4. Use the 'UP' or 'DOWN' buttons to adjust the minutes.
5. Press 'SET' a third time to confirm and exit time setting mode.

6.2 Setting Alarms (Alarm 1 & Alarm 2)

The clock supports two independent alarms.

1. Press the 'ALARM SET' button once to enter Alarm 1 setting mode. The Alarm 1 icon and hour digits will flash.
2. Use the 'UP' or 'DOWN' buttons to adjust the Alarm 1 hour.
3. Press 'ALARM SET' again to move to Alarm 1 minute setting.
4. Use the 'UP' or 'DOWN' buttons to adjust the Alarm 1 minutes.
5. Press 'ALARM SET' a third time to enter Alarm 2 setting mode (repeat steps for Alarm 2).
6. After setting Alarm 2 minutes, press 'ALARM SET' to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.

6.3 Snooze Function

When an alarm sounds/vibrates, press the 'SNZ' button to activate the snooze function. The alarm will pause for 10 minutes and then reactivate.

6.4 Adjusting Vibration Strength

The vibration strength can be adjusted to 3 levels. While in time display mode, press the 'DOWN/Vibration Strength' button repeatedly to cycle through the vibration intensity levels. The display will show an indicator for the current strength.

6.5 Backlight Activation

To temporarily illuminate the display, press the 'SNZ' button. The backlight will turn on for 10 seconds, making it easy to read the time in the dark.

6.6 Placing for Optimal Vibration

For the most effective vibration, place the alarm clock directly under your pillow or mattress. Ensure there are no obstructions that could dampen the vibration.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Wipe the alarm clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surface.

7.2 Battery Replacement

When the low battery indicator appears on the display, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the instructions in Section 5.1 to replace the 3 AA batteries. Always use new batteries and dispose of old batteries responsibly.
