2. Safety Information
- Thermal Overload Protection: The pump includes built-in thermal overload protection. If the internal temperature exceeds 70℃ (158℉), the circuit will automatically disconnect to protect the motor. The pump will resume operation once it cools down.
- Liquid Compatibility: This pump is designed for fresh water, drinking water, low salinity liquid, and weakly acidic liquid transfer. DO NOT PUMP FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS such as gasoline, kerosene, or ethanol, as this can cause fire or explosion.
- Electrical Connections: Ensure all electrical connections are secure and correctly polarized (positive to positive, negative to negative) to prevent damage to the pump or electrical system.
- Water Leaks: Regularly inspect all connections for leaks. Water leaks can lead to electrical hazards or pump malfunction.

5. Setup and Installation
The ECO-WORTHY pump is designed for easy installation. Follow these steps for proper setup:
- Mounting: Securely mount the pump in a dry, well-ventilated area. The rubber feet help reduce vibration and noise.
- Install Strainer: Firmly tighten the included water strainer onto the inlet port of the pump. The strainer helps prevent debris from entering and damaging the pump.
- Connect Hoses: Connect your water supply hose to the strainer inlet and your output hose to the pump's outlet. Use the provided 1/2" barbed hose adapters if needed. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent air leaks.
- Electrical Connection: Connect the pump's wires to a 12V DC power source. Ensure correct polarity: red wire to positive (+), black wire to negative (-).
- Prime the Pump: Before first use, ensure the water source is available and open a faucet in your system to allow air to escape. The pump is self-priming up to 9.8 vertical feet.
Note: Tighten all connecting parts to ensure there are no air leaks in the entire water system. Air leaks can cause the pump to fail to shut off, start and stop frequently, or not pump water effectively.

6. Operating Instructions
The ECO-WORTHY pump operates automatically based on water demand:
- Automatic On/Off: When you open a faucet or water outlet, the pump senses a drop in pressure and automatically starts running to supply water. When you close the faucet, the pump senses the pressure increase and shuts off.
- Quiet Operation: The pump is designed for quiet operation, comparable to a ceiling fan, ensuring minimal disturbance.
- Pressure Adjustment: The pump's shut-off pressure is factory set at 45 PSI. You can adjust the pressure within a range of 17-60 PSI. To adjust, open the top cover of the pressure switch and turn the screw clockwise to increase pressure or counter-clockwise to decrease pressure.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pump:
- Inspect Connections: Periodically check all hose connections and fittings for tightness and signs of leaks. Tighten as necessary.
- Clean Strainer: The inlet strainer should be regularly inspected and cleaned to remove any accumulated debris. A clogged strainer can reduce pump performance and lead to premature wear.
- Winterization: In freezing temperatures, ensure the pump and all water lines are completely drained to prevent damage from ice expansion.
- Storage: If storing the pump for an extended period, ensure it is clean, dry, and stored in a non-freezing environment.
8. Troubleshooting
Refer to the following table for common issues and their solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Pump does not start | No power, incorrect wiring, blown fuse, thermal overload activated | Check power supply and connections. Verify wiring polarity. Replace fuse if blown. Allow pump to cool if thermal overload was activated. |
| Low flow or pressure | Clogged strainer, air leak in inlet line, kinked hose, low voltage, partially closed valve | Clean strainer. Check all inlet connections for air leaks. Inspect hoses for kinks. Verify 12V DC power supply. Ensure all valves are fully open. |
| Pump runs continuously or cycles frequently | Air leak in system, pressure switch setting too low, small leak in plumbing, check valve issue | Check all connections for air leaks. Adjust pressure switch to a higher setting (within range). Inspect plumbing for small leaks. Check if a faulty check valve is allowing water to flow back. |
| Pump is noisy | Loose mounting, air in system, debris in pump, worn components | Ensure pump is securely mounted. Bleed air from the system. Clean strainer and check for debris. If noise persists, contact support. |
