Measuring Your Window
Accurate measurements are crucial for proper fit and function. Determine whether you will use an inside mount (within the window frame) or an outside mount (outside the window frame).
Inside Mount
- Measure the exact width of the window opening at the top, middle, and bottom. Use the smallest measurement.
- Measure the exact height of the window opening at the left, middle, and right. Use the longest measurement.
- Ensure your window frame has a depth of at least 2 inches for the blind housing.
- The ordered width will be 3/8'' smaller than your stated width to ensure a proper fit.
Outside Mount
- Measure the exact width of the window opening. Add 2-6 inches to this measurement for optimal light control and privacy.
- Measure the exact height of the window opening. Add 2-6 inches to this measurement to ensure full coverage.
- The shade height should be the exact window height plus 1-2 inches.

Maintenance
To maintain the appearance and functionality of your zebra blinds, follow these simple care instructions:
- Dusting: Regularly dust the blinds with a soft cloth or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment. The polyester fabric is less prone to dusting compared to wood or PVC blinds.
- Spot Cleaning: For minor spots, gently dab the affected area with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or excessive scrubbing.
- Avoid Immersion: Do not immerse the blinds in water.
- Environmental Factors: The fabric is designed to resist warping, peeling, or staining from high humidity and sun exposure.
