5.1 Battery Installation

The digital torque wrench requires two AAA batteries for operation. These are typically included in the package.

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the handle of the wrench.
  2. Use the provided small Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew the retaining screw on the battery cover.
  3. Carefully remove the battery cover.
  4. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - ends match the indicators inside the compartment).
  5. Replace the battery cover and secure it with the screw.

Press the 'U' button to cycle through the available measurement units: Ft.lb, N.m, In.lb, and Kg.cm.

Use the up ('^') and down ('v') arrow buttons to adjust the desired torque value. Long press for quick adjustment, and short press for precise adjustment.

For optimal accuracy, it is recommended to perform a zero-point calibration before each use or if the wrench has been dropped or subjected to impact. To calibrate, place the wrench on a flat, stable surface and press the 'C' button. The display will show a calibration sequence before returning to the main screen.
