The case includes 1/4" and 3/8" screw threads for mounting additional equipment and a hidden stable stand support.

5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection

  1. DC Power: Connect the provided 4A power adapter to the DC IN port on the monitor and then to a power outlet.
  2. Battery Power: If using a V-mount battery, ensure it is securely attached to the V-mount battery plate on the monitor. For Anton Bauer batteries, an optional plate is required.
  3. XLR Power: Connect a compatible XLR power source to the XLR input port.

5.2 Video Input Connection

The monitor supports 3G-SDI, HDMI, and DVI inputs. Choose the appropriate cable for your source device.

  • SDI: Connect your 3G-SDI source to one of the 2X SDI input ports.
  • HDMI: Connect your HDMI source (up to 4K@60Hz) to one of the 2X HDMI-A input ports.
  • DVI: Connect your DVI source to the DVI-I input port.

5.3 Video Output Connection

The monitor provides 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs for looping through or connecting to other display devices.

  • SDI Output: Connect an SDI cable from one of the 2X SDI output ports to another SDI device.
  • HDMI Output: Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI-A output port to another HDMI device.

5.4 USB Connection

The USB port is used for firmware upgrades and importing 3D LUTs. Connect a USB drive with the necessary files to this port.

5.5 Tally Connection

Connect the Tally kit to the 9-pin Tally port for external Tally signal integration.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button to turn the monitor on or off. The button may have an indicator light.

6.2 Input Source Selection

Use the dedicated input source buttons or navigate through the menu to select the desired video input (SDI1, SDI2, HDMI1, HDMI2, DVI).

6.3 Menu Navigation

The monitor features intuitive buttons for menu navigation. Typically, there are buttons for Menu, Up, Down, Left, Right, and Enter. Press the Menu button to access the main menu, then use the directional buttons to navigate and Enter to confirm selections.

6.4 Customizable Shortcut Buttons

The monitor includes 4 customizable shortcut buttons. These can be assigned to frequently used functions such as Waveform, Focus Assist, False Colors, etc. Refer to the menu settings to configure these buttons according to your workflow. The green LED backlight indicates active functions.

6.6 Audio Monitoring

The monitor features a stereo headphone output and built-in speakers. Audio meters can display up to 8 channels for HDMI signals and up to 16 channels for SDI signals.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Screen

Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-specific cleaning solution. Do not spray liquid directly onto the screen.

7.2 Cleaning the Case

Wipe the protective case with a soft, dry cloth. For dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

7.3 Storage

When not in use, store the monitor in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the protective case is closed to prevent dust and damage.

  • No Power:
    • Ensure the power adapter is securely connected and the power outlet is functional.
    • If using battery power, check that the battery is charged and properly installed.
  • No Video Signal:

    • Check that the correct input source is selected on the monitor.
