2. Compatibility
This stylus pen is compatible with specific iPad models. Please verify your iPad model number before use. You can find your model number by going to Settings > General > About > Model.

3. Setup and Initial Use
3.1 Powering On/Off
- To power on the pen, double-tap the top of the stylus.
- To power off the pen, double-tap the top of the stylus again.
3.2 iPad Settings Configuration
Before using the Viangs Stylus Pen, adjust the following iPad settings:
- Go to Settings > Apple Pencil.
- Disable the option "Only Draw with Apple Pencil".
- If you have previously paired an Apple Pencil, go to Settings > Bluetooth, find your Apple Pencil, tap the "i" icon, and select "Forget This Device".
- Restart your iPad.
3.3 Charging
The Viangs Stylus Pen supports wireless magnetic charging. Simply attach the pen to the side of your compatible iPad, similar to the Apple Pencil 2nd Generation. The pen will begin charging automatically.
- The pen features overcharge and temperature control functions to protect both the pen and your iPad's battery life.
- If you experience charging issues with an iPad case, try removing the case during charging.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Palm Rejection
The pen features palm rejection technology, allowing you to rest your hand comfortably on the iPad screen while writing or drawing without causing unintended marks.

4.2 Tilt Sensitivity

- Supported applications for tilt sensitivity include SketchBook, Procreate, Paper, Noteshelf, and Artset.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Replacing Nibs
The Viangs Stylus Pen comes with two types of interchangeable nibs to suit different usage scenarios and preferences:
- Silent Damping Nib: Offers high precision and a quiet writing experience, ideal for drawing and detailed work.
- Metal Nib: Provides excellent durability and a smooth writing feel, suitable for general use and professional environments.
To replace a nib, gently twist the current nib counter-clockwise to remove it, then twist the new nib clockwise until it is securely in place.
6. Troubleshooting
- Pen not turning on: Ensure the pen is charged. Double-tap the top of the pen to activate.
- Pen not charging: Verify your iPad model is compatible. Ensure the pen is correctly attached to the magnetic charging area. If using an iPad case, try removing it.
- Pen not connecting/working: Check iPad settings (disable "Only Draw with Apple Pencil"), disconnect any previously paired Apple Pencils via Bluetooth, and restart your iPad.
- Lag or instability: The Viangs Stylus Pen is designed for high precision and zero lag. If you experience issues, ensure your iPad's software is up to date and no other styluses are connected.
- No pressure sensitivity: This stylus does not feature pressure sensitivity. This is a characteristic of the product and not a malfunction.
