Installation

1. Measurement

Accurate measurements are crucial for proper installation. Determine whether you will use an inside mount or an outside mount.

  • For Inside Mount: We suggest reducing the window width by up to 1/4 inch to ensure a good fit within the frame. Minimum installation depth is 1.8 inches.
  • For Outside Mount: Add at least 4 inches to the window width for optimal light blockage. Consider outside mount for very thin, bay, or almost no-frame windows.

2. Mounting the Blinds

Follow these steps for a simple installation. No professional assistance is typically required.

  1. Marking: Choose appropriate spots for the two brackets and mark them with a pencil. We suggest marking at 1/3 and 2/3 of the total length of the shade.
  2. Drilling: Drill holes at the marked spots.
  3. Install Brackets: Install the trim panel bracket.
  4. Hook Headrail: Hook the headrail of the shade into the front of the bracket, then rotate the headrail until the back securely snaps into place.
  5. Install Valance: Attach the valance.
