3. Setup

Camera Connection Guide

To set up your camera, you will need a compatible DVR, a power adapter (DC 12V), and a video power cable (BNC connector for video, DC plug for power). The camera cannot be used alone for recording or remote viewing.

  1. Connect the DC 12V power input of the camera to a power adapter.
  2. Connect the BNC video output of the camera to the video input port on your DVR using a video power cable.
  3. Ensure your DVR is powered on and properly configured.

Compatibility and Mode Switching

This 5MP camera is compatible with 5MP/4K AHD, TVI, and CVI DVRs, as well as 960H CVBS analog DVRs. It will not display a picture if connected to a 1080P, 1080N, or 960H DVR that does not support 5MP input.

The camera features a 4-in-1 switch to adjust the video output mode (AHD, TVI, CVI, CVBS) to match your DVR's input. The default signal is AHD.
