- No Horseplay: Prohibit jumping, rough play, or hanging from any part of the bunk bed.
- Lighting: Ensure adequate lighting near the ladder for safe nighttime use.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps preserve the condition and safety of your bunk bed.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the metal frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
- Hardware Check: Every 3-6 months, inspect all bolts, screws, and connections. Tighten any loose hardware to maintain structural integrity.
- Squeak Prevention: This bed is designed to be squeak resistant. If any squeaking occurs, re-tighten all hardware. Applying a small amount of silicone lubricant to metal-on-metal contact points can also help.
- Environmental Factors: Avoid placing the bed in direct sunlight or near heat sources to prevent material degradation.
