5. Setup and Installation

Before installation, ensure your vehicle has a standard single DIN slot (7.4W x 2.28H inches). It is recommended to test the unit before full installation to confirm functionality.

Wiring Diagram

Backup Camera Installation

The included 8-LED CVBS backup camera provides enhanced safety when reversing. Connect the camera as shown in the diagram below.

Note: Ensure the reverse video input (pink wire) is connected to the vehicle's reverse light signal for automatic camera activation when shifting into reverse.

Pre-Installation Check

It is highly recommended to test the product's functionality before fully installing it into the dashboard. This helps identify any potential issues that might have occurred during transit.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto

Enjoy seamless smartphone integration via Bluetooth or USB. Voice commands (Siri/Google Assistant) are supported for hands-free operation.

• Wireless Connection: Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and pair with the car stereo. Follow the on-screen prompts to activate Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto.
• USB Connection: Connect your smartphone to the USB port using a compatible cable. The system will automatically detect and launch CarPlay or Android Auto.

Note: The system suspends FM radio playback upon activating Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

6.2 Bluetooth 5.0 & Hands-Free Calling

Connect your phone via Bluetooth for music streaming and hands-free calls.

• Go to the Bluetooth menu on the stereo.
• Enable Bluetooth on your phone and search for available devices.
• Select "Emeito 6286W" (or similar) from the list and pair.
• Use the built-in or external microphone for clear communication during calls.

6.3 FM Radio

Tune into your favorite FM stations and save presets.

• Select the FM radio mode from the main menu.
• Use the scan function to find available stations or manually tune.
• Press and hold a preset button to save the current station. The unit supports 6 FM presets.

6.4 10-Band EQ & Audio Settings

Customize your audio experience with the built-in 10-band equalizer and DSP settings.

• Access the EQ settings from the main menu.
• Choose from preset EQ modes (Jazz, Classic, Pop, Rock, Soft) or create a custom profile.
• Adjust loudness and balance controls for optimal sound distribution.

6.5 Steering Wheel Control (SWC)

Program your steering wheel buttons to control the stereo for convenient and safe operation.

• Connect the SWC wire from your vehicle to the stereo.
• Navigate to the Steering Wheel Control settings in the stereo's menu.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to learn and assign functions to your steering wheel buttons.

6.6 Phone Mirror Link

Mirror your iPhone or Android screen (excluding Huawei/Samsung) to the stereo display via USB.

• Connect your smartphone to the USB port.
• Select the Mirror Link option on the stereo.
• Follow the prompts on your phone and stereo to establish the connection.

6.7 USB + Type-C Fast Charging & Media Playback

The unit features dual USB ports and a Type-C port for fast charging and media playback.

• Connect USB drives for music (MP3/WMA/WAV/APE/FLAC) or video playback.
• Use the 2A Type-C port for fast charging compatible devices.

6.8 Capacitive Touchscreen

The 6.9-inch 2.5D IPS HD touchscreen offers a responsive and clear interface with a 1280x480 resolution.

• Navigate menus and control functions by tapping, swiping, and dragging on the screen.
