Setup and Assembly
Assembly is designed to be straightforward. It is recommended to have two people for assembly. All necessary installation accessories are included.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface (e.g., a rug or blanket) to prevent scratches.
- Assemble Headboard: Attach the headboard components as indicated in the included diagrams.
- Connect Side Rails: Securely attach the side rails to both the headboard and footboard using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are firm.
- Install Hydraulic Mechanism: Follow the specific instructions for installing the hydraulic support bars and the metal frame that holds the slats. Ensure the mechanism is correctly aligned and securely fastened to the bed frame.
- Place Slats: Insert the wooden slats into the designated slots on the metal frame. Ensure all 14 slats are evenly spaced and firmly seated.
- Attach Dustproof Cover: Secure the dustproof cover to the bottom of the storage area to protect stored items.
- Final Check: Verify that all screws and bolts are tightened. Do not overtighten, as this can strip threads.
Note: A power drill with appropriate bits may expedite the process of inserting screws, but hand tools are sufficient.

Operating Instructions (Lift-Up Mechanism)
The bed features an effortless hydraulic lifting mechanism for convenient access to the under-bed storage. A metal stopper protection device is integrated to prevent the mattress from sliding when the platform is lifted.
- Clear the Bed: Ensure no heavy items are on the mattress that could obstruct the lifting process or fall off.
- Locate Lifting Point: From the foot end of the bed, grasp the edge of the mattress frame.
- Engage Hydraulic System: Gently lift the mattress frame upwards. The hydraulic support bars will assist in smoothly raising the platform and holding it securely in the open position.
- Access Storage: Once lifted, the large storage compartment beneath the bed is accessible for placing or retrieving items.
- Lowering the Platform: To close, gently pull the platform down from the foot end. The hydraulic system will provide a controlled descent. Ensure hands and fingers are clear of the closing mechanism.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your bed frame.
- Cleaning Fabric: For routine cleaning, gently vacuum the upholstered fabric to remove dust and debris. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the fabric.
- Hardware Check: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability and prevent squeaking.
- Hydraulic System: The hydraulic system is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance. Avoid applying excessive force when lifting or lowering the platform. Do not attempt to lubricate the hydraulic cylinders unless specifically instructed by the manufacturer.
- Dustproof Cover: The dustproof cover can be wiped clean with a damp cloth as needed.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your bed frame, refer to the following troubleshooting guide:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Bed is squeaking. | Loose hardware; friction between parts. | Check and tighten all screws and bolts. Ensure slats are properly seated. Apply felt pads between contact points if necessary. |
| Difficulty lifting/lowering the platform. | Excessive weight on the mattress; hydraulic system obstruction or malfunction. | Remove any excess weight from the mattress. Check for any obstructions in the hydraulic mechanism's path. If the issue persists, contact customer support. |
| Mattress slides on the frame. | Metal stopper not engaged; mattress size incompatibility. | Ensure the metal stopper protection device is correctly installed at the foot of the bed. Verify that your mattress size is compatible with a Queen size frame. |
| Bed frame appears uneven or tilted. | Improper assembly; uneven floor surface. | Recheck all assembly steps, ensuring all parts are correctly aligned and tightened. If your floor is uneven, consider using furniture levelers or shims under the bed legs. If a manufacturing defect is suspected, contact customer support. |
