  • Convenient Wheeled Trolley Bag: Includes a gig bag with wheels and a retractable handle for easy transport, reducing strain. Features a spacious interior and a large front pocket for accessories.

Setup Instructions

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the wheeled gig bag. Verify that all items listed in the packing list are present: PD-L Power Board, pre-cut Hook & Loop strips, upgraded power adapter, DC power cables (15cm, 30cm, 50cm), and this manual.
  2. Positioning the Pedal Board: Place the pedal board on a stable, flat surface. Extend the retractable support legs if an angled setup is desired. Ensure the legs are securely locked into position.

  5. Connecting Power: Connect the provided DC power cables from the isolated power supply outputs on the pedal board to your individual pedals. The pedal board offers 14 x 9V 500mA outputs, 2 x 12V 500mA outputs, 1 x 15V 500mA output, and 1 x 18V 800mA output. Ensure correct voltage and polarity for each pedal.

  6. Main Power Connection: Connect the upgraded power adapter to the pedal board's main power input and then to a suitable wall outlet.
  7. Audio Connections: Connect your guitar to the "IN" jack on the pedal board (if using the built-in buffer/light bar feature) or directly to your first pedal. Connect the "OUT" jack of your last pedal to your amplifier.

Operating Instructions

  1. Powering On: Flip the "ON/OFF" switch on the pedal board to the "ON" position. The LED level indicators will illuminate.
  2. Adjusting the Light Bar:
    • Pull up the light bar to automatically illuminate your pedalboard.
    • Use the control knob to adjust the height, brightness, color, and flashing modes of the light bar.
    • The front-mounted LED level indicator responds to your guitar signal, providing visual feedback.
    • Fold the light bar down to turn off the light.

  3. Power-Up Buffer Function: The pedalboard features a power-on buffering mechanism that stabilizes current and protects pedals from voltage fluctuations. Some pedals may require re-plugging when first connected due to their startup logic needing a quick voltage rise. This is normal and indicates the protection is active.
  4. Cable Management: Utilize the wide attachment areas and cable holders to route and secure your power and audio cables neatly, ensuring a clean and organized setup.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the aluminum alloy surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
  • Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect all power and audio cables for signs of wear or damage. Replace any damaged cables immediately to prevent electrical issues or signal loss.
  • Hook & Loop Adhesion: Periodically check the adhesion of the Hook & Loop strips on both the board and your pedals. Reapply or replace as needed to ensure pedals remain secure.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the pedal board in its wheeled gig bag to protect it from dust, moisture, and physical damage.

Troubleshooting

No Power to Pedals:
  • Ensure the main power adapter is securely connected to both the pedal board and a working wall outlet.
  • Check that the "ON/OFF" switch on the pedal board is in the "ON" position.
  • Verify that individual DC power cables are correctly connected to the appropriate voltage outputs on the pedal board and to your pedals.
  • If a pedal does not power on, try re-plugging its power cable. Some pedals have startup logic that requires a quick voltage rise, and the power-up buffer may cause this.
Excessive Noise/Hum:
  • The built-in isolated power supply is designed to minimize noise. Ensure all power cables are properly connected and not loose.
  • Check for ground loops by ensuring all equipment is connected to properly grounded outlets.
  • Test pedals individually to identify if a specific pedal is introducing noise.
Light Bar Malfunction:
  • Ensure the light bar is fully pulled up for illumination.
  • Check the control knob settings for brightness and mode.
  • If the LED level indicator is not responding, ensure your guitar is properly connected to the "IN" jack (if using this feature).
