Introduction

The Beelink SER5 Mini PC is a high-performance, compact computer designed for a wide range of applications, from home entertainment and office work to light gaming and design tasks. Featuring an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U processor, ample RAM, and fast SSD storage, it offers a smooth and efficient computing experience. Its small form factor and versatile connectivity options make it an ideal solution for various setups.

Setup

Connecting Your Mini PC

1. Connect to Display: Use the provided HDMI cable to connect the Mini PC to your monitor or TV. The device supports 4K triple display output via HDMI, DisplayPort, and Type-C ports. For triple display, connect additional monitors using DisplayPort and/or Type-C to HDMI/DisplayPort adapters (not included).

2. Connect Peripherals: Plug in your USB keyboard and mouse into the available USB 3.2 Gen2 ports. The Mini PC also features a USB 2.0 port and a Type-C port for data and video.

3. Connect to Network: For wired internet, connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 2.5G LAN port. For wireless connectivity, the Mini PC supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.2.

4. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC Jack on the Mini PC, then connect it to a power outlet.

First Boot and Initial Configuration

Press the power button on the front of the Mini PC to turn it on. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup of your operating system. This typically involves setting up user accounts, network connections, and basic preferences.

For users who wish to enable the Auto Power On feature, please contact Beelink technical support with the barcode located at the bottom of your device. They will provide the necessary tutorial file.

The Beelink SER5 Mini PC is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U processor (6 Cores, 12 Threads, up to 4.0 GHz) and AMD Radeon Graphics 7 core 1800 MHz, providing robust performance for various computing needs. It comes with 16GB DDR4-3200MHz RAM, expandable up to 64GB, and a 500GB M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD, with support for up to 4TB storage expansion.

Cooling System

Maintenance

• Keep the Mini PC in a well-ventilated area to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating.
• Regularly clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners directly on the device.
• Ensure all cables are securely connected.
• Periodically check for and install operating system updates and driver updates to maintain optimal performance and security.
• Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the Mini PC.

Troubleshooting

This section provides solutions to common issues you might encounter with your Beelink SER5 Mini PC.

General Issues

• No Power:
  • Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the Mini PC and a working power outlet.
  • Verify the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
  • If the issue persists, contact customer support.
• No Display:
  • Check that the HDMI/DisplayPort/Type-C cable is firmly connected to both the Mini PC and the monitor.
  • Ensure the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source.
  • Try a different display cable or monitor if available.
• Slow Performance:
  • Close unnecessary applications running in the background.
  • Ensure sufficient free space on the SSD.
  • Check for and install any pending operating system updates or driver updates.
  • Monitor system temperatures to ensure proper cooling.

BIOS and System Updates

• How to enter BIOS: Press the "Delete" key repeatedly immediately after booting up the Mini PC.
• How to enter Boot Options Menu: Press the "F7" key repeatedly immediately after booting up the Mini PC.
• Updating the Mini Computer: If you need to update the mini computer, please contact Beelink customer service. They will provide you with the necessary tutorial.
