1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your Aheadlink ALQ1 Android 12 Tablet. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not expose the tablet to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the tablet to strong impacts.
  • Use only the provided or approved charging accessories.
  • Keep the tablet away from water and other liquids.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the tablet yourself. Contact customer support for assistance.

4. Device Layout

Familiarize yourself with the physical components of your tablet.

Key Components:

  • Power Button: Located on the top edge, used to power on/off or wake/sleep the device.
  • Volume Buttons: Located on the side, used to adjust audio volume.
  • USB-C Port: For charging and data transfer.
  • 3.5mm Audio Jack: For connecting headphones or external speakers.
  • MicroSD Card Slot: For expanding storage up to 1TB.
  • Front Camera: 2MP camera for video calls and selfies.
  • Rear Camera: 5MP camera for capturing photos and videos.
  • Speaker: For audio output.

5. Setup

5.1 Initial Power On

  1. Press and hold the Power Button until the screen lights up.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, region, and accept the terms and conditions.

5.2 Wi-Fi Connection

  1. During initial setup or later, navigate to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi.
  2. Toggle Wi-Fi On.
  3. Select your desired Wi-Fi network from the list.
  4. Enter the network password if prompted and tap Connect.

5.3 Google Account Setup

A Google account is required to download apps from the Google Play Store and access Google services.

  1. During initial setup, you will be prompted to sign in with an existing Google account or create a new one.
  2. Alternatively, go to Settings > Accounts > Add account > Google.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the sign-in or account creation process.

5.4 Inserting a MicroSD Card

To expand storage, insert a MicroSD card (up to 1TB, not included).

  1. Locate the MicroSD card slot on the side of the tablet.
  2. Gently insert the MicroSD card into the slot until it clicks into place.
  3. The tablet may prompt you to format the card for internal or portable storage. Follow the on-screen instructions.

6. Operating the Tablet

6.1 Basic Navigation

  • Touch Screen: Tap to select, swipe to scroll, pinch to zoom.
  • Home Screen: The central hub for your apps and widgets.
  • Notification Panel: Swipe down from the top of the screen to access notifications and quick settings.
  • App Drawer: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to view all installed applications.

6.2 Using the Cameras

The tablet features a 2MP front camera and a 5MP rear camera.

  1. Open the Camera application.
  2. Tap the shutter button to take a photo.
  3. Switch between front and rear cameras using the camera icon.
  4. Select video mode to record videos.

6.3 Battery Management

The tablet is powered by a 3000mAh battery, providing approximately 6 hours of general use.

  • Charging: Connect the provided Type-C cable to the tablet and a power adapter.
  • Battery Saver: Enable Battery Saver mode in Settings > Battery to extend battery life.
  • Optimizing Usage: Reduce screen brightness, close unused apps, and disable Wi-Fi/Bluetooth when not in use to conserve power.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Tablet

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body of the tablet.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or aerosol sprays.
  • If necessary, slightly dampen the cloth with water, but avoid getting moisture into openings.

7.2 Software Updates

Regularly check for and install software updates to ensure optimal performance and security.

  1. Connect the tablet to a Wi-Fi network.
  2. Go to Settings > System > System update.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to check for and install any available updates.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your tablet, refer to the following common solutions:
