Setup

The seenda Upgraded Trackpad features a simple plug-and-play setup. No drivers are required for basic functionality.

  1. Choose the appropriate cable:
    • Use the 4.9ft USB Type-A to Type-C cable if your computer has a standard USB-A port.
    • Use the 3.3ft USB Type-C to Type-C cable if your computer has a USB-C port.
  2. Connect the trackpad: Insert the Type-C end of the chosen cable into the USB-C port on the trackpad.
  3. Connect to your computer: Insert the other end of the cable (USB-A or USB-C) into an available USB port on your Windows 10/11 PC or Mac.
  4. The trackpad is ready for use once connected.

Operating Instructions

The seenda Upgraded Trackpad supports a variety of multi-touch gestures for intuitive navigation on both Windows and Mac operating systems. The trackpad is recognized as a native touchpad, allowing you to customize gestures through your system settings.

Windows 10/11 Gestures

Below are common gestures and their functions on Windows 10/11. You can adjust touchpad settings in Settings > Devices > Touchpad.

  • One-Finger:
    • Move: Drag one finger across the surface to move the cursor.
    • Tap to click: Lightly tap the surface with one finger to perform a left-click. (Enable in settings)
  • Two-Fingers:
    • Scroll: Slide two fingers up or down to scroll content.
    • Secondary click (Right-click): Tap with two fingers to perform a right-click.
    • Pinch to zoom: Pinch two fingers together or spread them apart to zoom in or out.
  • Three-Fingers:
    • Show Desktop: Slide three fingers down to minimize all windows and show the desktop.
    • Mission Control (Task View): Slide three fingers up to open Task View, showing all open windows.
    • Switch Apps: Slide three fingers left or right to switch between open applications.
  • Four-Fingers:
    • Action Center: Swipe left from the right edge to open the Action Center.
    • Launch Windows Search: Tap with four fingers to open Windows Search.
  • Physical Left & Right Buttons:
    • The lower left and right areas of the trackpad function as physical left and right click buttons.
    • Select and Drag: Press and hold the left physical button to select items or drag them across the screen.

Mac OS Gestures

The seenda trackpad is fully compatible with Mac OS (10.11 and above) and supports native multi-touch gestures. You can configure these gestures in System Settings > Trackpad.

  • One-Finger:
    • Tap to click: Lightly tap the surface with one finger to perform a left-click. (Enable in System Settings > Trackpad > Tap to click)
    • Look Up & Data Detectors: Tap with three fingers to look up a word or take actions with data. (Enable in System Settings > Trackpad > Look up & data detectors > Tap with Three Fingers)
  • Two-Fingers:
    • Scroll: Slide two fingers up or down to scroll content.
    • Secondary click (Right-click): Click or tap with two fingers to perform a right-click.
    • Smart Zoom: Double-tap two fingers to zoom in/out of a webpage or PDF.
    • Pinch to zoom: Pinch two fingers together or spread them apart to zoom in or out.
    • Rotate: Place two fingers on the trackpad and rotate them to rotate a photo or other item.
    • Swipe between pages: Swipe two fingers left or right to show the previous or next page in a document or browser.
    • Open Notification Center: Swipe left from the right edge of the trackpad with two fingers.
  • Three-Fingers:
    • Three-Finger Drag: Drag items on your screen. (Enable in System Settings > Accessibility > Pointer Control > Trackpad Options > Dragging Style > Three Finger Drag)
    • Mission Control: Slide three fingers up to open Mission Control.
    • App Expose: Slide three fingers down to show all windows of the current application.
    • Swipe between full-screen apps: Swipe three fingers left or right to switch between full-screen apps or desktops.
  • Four-Fingers:
    • Show Desktop: Spread with thumb and three fingers to show the desktop.
    • Launchpad: Pinch with thumb and three fingers to display Launchpad.
  • Physical Left & Right Buttons:
    • The lower left and right areas of the trackpad function as physical left and right click buttons.
    • Select and Drag: Press and hold the left physical button to select items or drag them across the screen.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your seenda Upgraded Trackpad, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning the Surface: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the tempered glass surface. For stubborn smudges or fingerprints, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive screen cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or excessive moisture.
  • Avoid Liquids: Do not expose the trackpad to liquids. If liquid spills occur, immediately disconnect the trackpad and allow it to dry completely before reconnecting.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the trackpad in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Handle with Care: While durable, avoid dropping the trackpad or subjecting it to strong impacts, which could damage the glass surface or internal components.

Troubleshooting
