4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the sewing machine from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or transport.

4.2 Power Connection

  1. Ensure the machine's power switch is in the "OFF" position.
  2. Insert the power adapter plug into the DC input jack on the machine.
  3. Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.
  4. If using the foot pedal, plug the foot pedal cable into the designated port.

4.3 Threading the Machine

Proper threading is crucial for good stitch quality.

4.3.1 Winding the Bobbin

  1. Place a spool of thread on the spool pin.
  2. Guide the thread through the bobbin winder tension disc.
  3. Wind the thread a few times around an empty bobbin.
  4. Place the bobbin onto the bobbin winder spindle and push it to the right.
  5. Turn on the machine (low speed recommended) and allow the bobbin to wind until full.
  6. Cut the thread and remove the bobbin.

4.3.2 Inserting the Bobbin

  1. Open the bobbin cover.
  2. Insert the wound bobbin into the bobbin case, ensuring the thread unwinds in the correct direction (usually counter-clockwise).
  3. Pull the thread through the tension spring and out through the small opening.
  4. Close the bobbin cover.

4.3.3 Threading the Upper Thread

  1. Raise the presser foot lever.
  2. Place a spool of thread on the spool pin.
  3. Guide the thread through the upper thread guide.
  4. Follow the numbered threading path down through the tension discs and up to the take-up lever.
  5. Thread the take-up lever from right to left.
  6. Guide the thread down through the needle bar thread guide.
  7. Thread the needle from front to back.
  8. Pull about 6 inches of thread through the needle eye.

4.4 Needle Installation

Ensure the machine is unplugged before changing the needle.

  1. Loosen the needle clamp screw.
  2. Remove the old needle.
  3. Insert the new needle with the flat side facing the back of the machine.
  4. Push the needle up as far as it will go.
  5. Tighten the needle clamp screw securely.

5. Operating the StitchMaster Pro

5.1 Selecting Stitches

The StitchMaster Pro offers 16 types of stitches for various sewing needs.

To select a stitch, simply turn the Stitch Selector Dial to the desired number (1-16) indicated on the machine's body.

To engage reverse stitching, press and hold the Reverse Stitch Lever. Release the lever to resume forward stitching.

The StitchMaster Pro is capable of sewing a variety of fabrics, including thick materials like denim.

5.6 Using Twin Needles (Double-line Dance)

The StitchMaster Pro supports dual-needle, dual-thread sewing for parallel stitching lines, enhancing strength and efficiency.

To use twin needles, install a twin needle (available separately) and thread each needle independently using two spools of thread. Ensure both threads are guided through the machine's tension system correctly.
