Installation Guide

Safety First:

• Always ensure the engine is off and cool before performing any maintenance.
• Disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting.
• Wear appropriate safety gear, such as gloves and eye protection.
• Refer to your equipment's specific service manual for detailed instructions and torque specifications.

1. Air Filter Installation

1. Locate the air filter housing, typically on the side of the engine.
2. Unlatch or unscrew the cover to open the housing.
3. Remove the old air filter and pre-cleaner. Note the orientation.
4. Clean any debris from inside the air filter housing.
5. Install the new pre-cleaner onto the new air filter.
6. Insert the new air filter assembly into the housing, ensuring it seats properly.
7. Close and secure the air filter housing cover.

2. Oil Filter Installation

1. Place a drain pan under the oil filter.
2. Unscrew the old oil filter counter-clockwise. Be prepared for oil spillage.
3. Apply a thin film of new engine oil to the rubber gasket of the new oil filter.
4. Screw on the new oil filter clockwise until the gasket makes contact, then tighten an additional 1/2 to 3/4 turn by hand. Do not overtighten.
5. Check for leaks after running the engine for a few minutes.

3. Fuel Filter Installation

1. Locate the fuel filter in the fuel line.
2. Use clamps to pinch off the fuel lines on both sides of the filter to minimize fuel leakage.
3. Remove the old fuel filter by loosening the clamps and detaching the fuel lines.
4. Install the new fuel filter, ensuring the arrow on the filter points towards the engine (direction of fuel flow).
5. Secure the fuel lines with new or existing clamps.
6. Remove the pinch clamps from the fuel lines.

4. Spark Plug Replacement

1. Carefully pull the spark plug wires from the old spark plugs.
2. Use a spark plug wrench to unscrew the old spark plugs counter-clockwise.
3. Inspect the old spark plugs for signs of wear or fouling.
4. Gap the new spark plugs according to your engine's specifications (refer to your engine manual).
5. Thread the new spark plugs into the engine by hand to avoid cross-threading.
6. Tighten with a spark plug wrench, but do not overtighten.
7. Reconnect the spark plug wires firmly.

5. Fuel Pump Installation
