1. Setup and Initial Configuration

The LOUKIENE LK-QCB20 Restaurant Pager System is designed for effortless setup and operation. The system is ready to use right out of the box, with no reprogramming required for basic functionality. It supports seamless pairing for up to 998 pagers, allowing for flexible expansion as your business grows.

1.1 Charging the Pagers

Each pager includes a built-in 3.7V/200mAh lithium battery with a stacked charging design. Place all pagers onto the charging base to ensure they are fully charged before first use. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours and provides over 12 hours of standby time.

1.2 Pairing Pagers and Setting Pager Numbers

If you need to change a pager's number or pair new pagers, follow these steps:

  1. Disconnect the power adapter from the charging base.
  2. Reconnect the power adapter. Within 20 seconds of reconnecting power, press the 'P' button on the keypad, then enter '999', and press 'Call'. The pager numbers on the charging base will disappear and then illuminate, indicating they are in pairing mode.
  3. Enter the desired new pager number (e.g., '011' for pager 11) on the keypad and press 'Call'.
  4. Pick up the pager you wish to assign this number to. The pager will beep and display the new number.
  5. Repeat for all pagers you wish to re-number.

2. Operating Instructions

The pager system offers various features to efficiently manage customer queues and notifications.

2.1 Calling a Pager

To call a specific pager, simply enter its assigned number on the keypad and press the 'Call' button. The pager will activate according to its set alert mode.

2.2 Customizable Alert Modes

Choose from 7 customizable alert modes: buzzer, vibration, and flash alerts, individually or combined. Enhanced beep and vibration modes ensure customers notice their notifications, even in loud or crowded spaces.

2.3 Setting Prompt Time

You can adjust the duration of the pager's alert. Refer to the video below for detailed instructions on setting the prompt time.

2.4 One-Touch Group Shutdown

To power off all pagers on the charging base simultaneously, use the one-touch group shutdown feature. Enter '999' on the keypad and then press 'Call'.

3. Maintenance and Care

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pager system.

3.1 Cleaning and Durability

The transmitters and receivers are built to withstand demanding conditions, featuring a waterproof and oil-resistant design. To clean, wipe surfaces with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.

3.2 Customizable Advertising Space

Pagers include space for promotional stickers. Easily apply and replace these stickers to showcase specials, logos, or store information. This feature is ideal for branding and promotions.

4. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your LOUKIENE pager system, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Pagers not responding: Ensure pagers are fully charged and correctly placed on the charging base. Verify that the transmitter is powered on.
  • Pagers not pairing: Follow the pairing instructions carefully, ensuring the power is disconnected and reconnected within the specified time frame before entering the pairing sequence.
  • Short range: Ensure the transmitter's antenna is properly extended and there are no major obstructions (e.g., thick walls, metal structures) between the transmitter and pagers.
  • Pager alerts too weak: Adjust the alert mode settings to include stronger vibration, louder beep, or more prominent flash.
  • Pager numbers incorrect: Re-pair the affected pagers following the 'Pairing Pagers and Setting Pager Numbers' instructions.
