4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the timer.
2. Slide the cover open.
3. Insert one AAA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Initial Power On

After installing the battery, the timer will automatically power on and display the default time or '0:00:00'.

5. Operating Instructions

The timer features three main modes: TIMER, CLOCK, and ALARM. Press the MODE button to cycle through these functions.

5.1 Clock Setting

1. Press the MODE button until "CLOCK" appears on the screen.
2. Hold the START/STOP button for three seconds until the time display starts blinking.
3. Press the HOUR, MIN, and SEC buttons to set the desired time.
4. Press START/STOP again to activate the clock; the ":" will begin to blink.

5.2 Timer Function (Count-Up)

1. Press the MODE button until "TIMER" is displayed and the screen shows "0:00:00".
2. Press the START/STOP button to begin counting up. The "COUNT-UP" symbol will appear.
3. Press START/STOP again to pause the count-up.
4. Press the CLEAR button to reset the timer to "0:00:00".

5.3 Timer Function (Count-Down)

1. Press the MODE button until "TIMER" is displayed and the screen shows "0:00:00".
2. Use the HOUR, MIN, and SEC buttons to set your desired countdown time. Hold down the buttons for fast forward adjustment.
3. Press the START/STOP button to begin the countdown.
4. Press START/STOP again to pause the countdown.
5. When the countdown reaches zero, the alarm will sound (if enabled) and the LED indicator will flash.
6. Press any button to stop the alarm. The timer will return to the last set time due to the memory function.
7. Press the CLEAR button to reset the timer to "0:00:00".

5.4 Alarm Setting

1. Press the MODE button until "ALARM" appears on the screen.
2. Hold the HOUR button for three seconds until the alarm time display starts blinking.
3. Press the HOUR, MIN, and SEC buttons to set your desired alarm time.
4. Press START/STOP to confirm the alarm time and activate the alarm. The alarm icon will appear on the display.
5. To deactivate the alarm, press START/STOP again. The alarm icon will disappear.

5.5 Silent / Audible Mode Switching

On the back of the timer, there is a physical switch to toggle between silent mode and audible alarm mode. In silent mode, the LED indicator will flash when the timer or alarm finishes. In audible mode, the timer will beep loudly.

5.6 Placement Options

6. Maintenance
