Operating Instructions

Your motion sensor light offers customizable lighting modes for various needs:

Switch Settings:

Locate the switch on the side of the light. It has three positions:

  • ON: The light will remain continuously on, providing constant illumination (Illuminated 24/7).
  • OFF: The light will remain off.
  • AUTO: This activates the motion sensor mode.

Motion Sensor Mode (AUTO):

In AUTO mode, the light operates based on ambient light conditions and motion detection:

  • Daylight: The light will remain off in well-lit areas, conserving battery power.
  • Low-Light/Night: When ambient light is low, the light will activate instantly upon detecting motion within its 120-125 degree sensing angle and up to 16 feet (5 meters) distance.
  • Automatic Shutoff: The light will automatically turn off approximately 20-30 seconds after motion is no longer detected.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the light's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace all three AAA batteries when the light dims or stops functioning. Always replace with new, high-quality batteries.
  • Sensor Area: Keep the motion sensor lens clean and free from obstructions (e.g., dirt, dust, spiderwebs) to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Light does not turn on.Batteries are dead or incorrectly installed.Replace batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
Light does not turn on in AUTO mode.Ambient light is too bright.Test the light in a dark environment. The sensor prevents activation in daylight to conserve power.

Light turns on unexpectedly or stays on too long.Interference from heat sources or moving objects (e.g., swaying branches, pets).Adjust the light's position or angle to minimize false triggers.
Light is dim.Low battery power.Replace batteries.
