Setup

The Beizkna External CD DVD Drive is designed for plug-and-play functionality, requiring no additional driver installation for most compatible systems.

Connecting the Drive:

  1. Identify the USB Port: The drive features a 2-in-1 USB 3.0 data cable with both USB-A and USB-C connectors. Identify an available USB 3.0 (or higher) port on your computer (laptop, desktop, Mac, Notebook).
  2. Plug In: Connect the appropriate USB connector (USB-A or USB-C) from the drive's cable into your computer's USB port.

  3. Automatic Recognition: Your operating system should automatically detect and recognize the drive. No manual driver installation is typically required.
  4. Desktop PC Note: For desktop computers, it is recommended to connect the USB cable to a USB port on the back of the main board. Front panel USB ports may not provide sufficient power, which can prevent the drive from being recognized.

Initial Use:

Once connected, the drive is ready for use. You can insert a CD or DVD by pressing the eject button on the drive, placing the disc on the tray, and gently pushing the tray back in.
