Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the mixer. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or internal components.
- Storage: When not in use, store the mixer in its protective suitcase shell in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Ventilation: Ensure the mixer's ventilation openings are not obstructed during operation to prevent overheating.
Troubleshooting
- No Power: Check if the power cable is securely connected to both the mixer and the power outlet. Ensure the power button (22) is in the ON position.
- No Sound Output: Verify that all input sources are connected correctly and their GAIN (3) and Level (8) knobs are adjusted appropriately. Check the Main Out (11) connections to your speakers/amplifier and ensure their volume is up. Confirm the main output level meters (15) show activity.
- Distorted Sound: Reduce the GAIN (3) and Level (8) knobs for the affected channels. Ensure the PEAK LEDs are not constantly lit. Check input source levels.
- Microphone Not Working: Ensure the microphone is properly connected. If it's a condenser microphone, verify that +48V Phantom Power (9) is activated. Check the microphone's cable for damage.
- USB Playback Issues: Ensure the USB flash drive is properly inserted and contains compatible audio files (e.g., MP3). Check the MP3 Volume Knob (19) and main volume.
