5. Assembly Instructions
Assembly is required for these bar stools. Please follow the steps below carefully. It is recommended to assemble the stools on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out and compare them with the parts list in your hardware pack to ensure everything is present.
- Assemble Leg Frames: Each leg and cross piece is a separate component. Attach the horizontal cross pieces to the vertical leg pieces using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Ensure the holes align correctly. Do not fully tighten screws at this stage.
- Attach Footrests: Secure the rubber wood footrests to the assembled leg frames. The footrests are designed to provide support and relaxation for your legs. Ensure they are oriented correctly. Again, do not fully tighten all screws yet.
- Secure Seat to Frame: Place the acacia wood seat onto the top of the assembled leg frame. Align the pre-drilled holes in the seat with the holes in the top of the leg frame. Insert and hand-tighten the screws to attach the seat.
- Final Tightening: Once all parts are loosely assembled, place the stool on a flat surface. Apply gentle downward pressure to ensure all parts are seated correctly, then systematically tighten all screws and bolts using the Allen wrench. Do not overtighten.
- Attach Non-slip Foot Pads: Peel and stick or press the non-slip foot pads onto the bottom of each leg to protect your flooring and enhance stability.
Repeat these steps for each bar stool in the set.

7. Maintenance
Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your bar stools.
- Cleaning: Wipe the stools with a dry cloth to remove dust and spills. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the wood finish.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability and safety.
- Avoid Moisture: Do not expose the stools to excessive moisture or direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as this can cause warping or fading of the wood.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your COSTWAY bar stools, please refer to the following common solutions:
- Wobbling Stool: Ensure all screws and bolts are fully tightened. Check that the stool is placed on a flat, even surface. Adjust non-slip foot pads if necessary.
- Difficulty Assembling: Review the assembly instructions carefully. Ensure all parts are oriented correctly and that you are using the correct hardware for each step. Do not force parts together.
