1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the HOMLYNS LuxeHeat Heated Blanket. This electric throw is designed to provide warmth and comfort with its soft flannel and Sherpa materials. It features multiple heat settings and an automatic shut-off function for safe and convenient use. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper operation and to maintain its longevity.

2. Important Safety Information

To reduce the risk of burns, electric shock, fire, or injury, this product must be used in accordance with the following instructions:

• Read all instructions before use.
• Do not use with infants, children, incapacitated persons, or anyone insensitive to heat.
• Do not use on areas of insensitive skin.
• Do not use in an oxygen-enriched atmosphere or near equipment storing or emitting oxygen.
• Do not use pins or other metallic means to fasten the blanket. This can damage the electrical wiring.
• Do not use if the blanket is wet.
• Always disconnect the power cord from the outlet when not in use.
• Do not use this blanket with a generator, power converter, or inverter.
• This blanket is equipped with Japanese-imported heating wires featuring NTC and PTC temperature detection for real-time monitoring of spot and surface temperatures to prevent overheating. It is ETL certified for safety.
• The blanket features a 3-hour auto shut-off function for added safety.

3. Setup Instructions

1. Unpack the Blanket: Carefully remove the heated blanket and controller from its packaging. Ensure all components are present and undamaged.
2. Connect the Controller: Locate the connector on the blanket. Align the controller's plug with the blanket's connector and push firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure a secure connection. The connection is designed to be solid and will not detach unless the release tab is lifted.
3. Position the Blanket: Place the blanket on your desired surface, such as a couch, chair, or bed. Ensure the blanket is spread out evenly and not bunched or folded, as this can cause localized overheating.
4. Plug into Power: Plug the power cord of the controller into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. Do not use with extension cords or power strips.

4. Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Press the power button on the controller to turn on the blanket. The indicator light will illuminate, typically starting at the lowest heat setting (Level 1).
2. Adjust Heat Settings: Press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the 5 available heat settings. The corresponding LED indicator will light up to show the selected heat level. The heat settings range from 86°F to 115°F.
3. Auto Shut-Off Timer: The blanket is equipped with a 3-hour auto shut-off timer for safety. After 3 hours of continuous operation, the blanket will automatically turn off. To restart, simply press the power button again.
4. Power Off: To turn off the blanket manually, cycle through all heat settings until all indicator lights are off, or press and hold the power button for a few seconds. Always unplug the blanket from the wall outlet when not in use.

5. Care and Maintenance

Proper care ensures the longevity and safe operation of your heated blanket.

• Before Washing: Always disconnect the controller from the blanket and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
• Machine Washable: The blanket is machine washable. Use a gentle cycle with cold water (86°F / 30°C).
• Do Not Bleach: Avoid using bleach or harsh cleaning agents.
• Do Not Iron: Do not iron the blanket, as this can damage the heating elements.
• Drying: Hang to dry or lay flat. Do not tumble dry. Ensure the blanket is completely dry before reconnecting the controller and using it again.

7. Troubleshooting

If your heated blanket is not operating as expected, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:

• Blanket not heating:
  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Verify that the controller is firmly connected to the blanket.
  • Press the power button on the controller to turn it on and select a heat setting.
  • If the blanket has automatically shut off after 3 hours, press the power button to restart.
• Controller lights flashing:
  • This may indicate a fault or an error. Unplug the blanket from the wall outlet, disconnect the controller from the blanket, wait for 5 minutes, then reconnect and plug it back in.
  • Ensure the blanket is not bunched, folded, or covered in a way that could cause localized overheating.
• Uneven heating:
  • Ensure the blanket is spread out flat and not folded or crumpled during use.
  • Check for any visible damage to the blanket fabric or internal wiring. Do not use if damaged.
