Setup Guide
Method 1: WPS Button Setup (Recommended for Repeater Mode)
- Plug the Repeater into a power outlet near your existing Wi-Fi router.
- Wait for the Power LED to turn solid.
- Press the WPS button on your existing router.
- Within two minutes, press the WPS button on the Repeater.
- The Repeater's Signal LED should turn solid, indicating a successful connection.
- Relocate the Repeater to a suitable location between your router and the Wi-Fi dead zone. Ensure the Signal LED indicates good signal strength.
Method 2: Web Browser Setup
- Plug the Repeater into a power outlet.
- Connect your computer or mobile device to the Repeater's default Wi-Fi network (e.g., "Wireless-AC" or similar, check device label for exact SSID). No password is required initially.
- Open a web browser and enter the default IP address: 192.168.188.1 in the address bar.
- Log in using the default username and password (usually "admin" for both, check device label).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to select your desired operating mode (Repeater, AP, or Router) and configure network settings.
- For Repeater Mode, select your existing Wi-Fi network and enter its password.
- For AP Mode, connect the Repeater to your router via an Ethernet cable and configure a new Wi-Fi network.
- For Router Mode, connect the Repeater to your modem via an Ethernet cable and configure your internet connection.
- Once configured, relocate the Repeater to an optimal position.
Operating Modes
The device supports three main operating modes:
1. Repeater Mode (WISP Mode)
Extends the range of your existing Wi-Fi network. It connects wirelessly to your router and rebroadcasts the signal, eliminating Wi-Fi dead zones.

Image Description: This diagram illustrates the Repeater (WISP) Mode. An internet connection feeds into a main router. The WiFi Repeater connects wirelessly to this router, extending the signal to multiple client devices such as computers and tablets. This setup is ideal for expanding existing Wi-Fi coverage.
2. Access Point (AP) Mode
Transforms your wired network connection into a wireless one. Connect the Repeater to your router via an Ethernet cable, and it will create a new Wi-Fi network for your wireless devices.

Image Description: This diagram illustrates the Access Point (AP) Mode. An internet connection is provided to a wired network device (e.g., a modem or router). The WiFi Repeater is connected to this wired device via an Ethernet cable, then broadcasts a new Wi-Fi signal to client devices. This mode converts a wired network into a wireless one.
3. Router Mode
Functions as a primary router, connecting directly to your modem to create a new private network for your home or office. This mode is suitable if you do not have an existing router.

Image Description: This diagram illustrates the Router Mode. An internet connection is provided to a modem. The WiFi Repeater is connected directly to the modem via an Ethernet cable and acts as the primary router, creating a new Wi-Fi network for all connected client devices. This mode is used when the device is the main network controller.
Maintenance
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the manufacturer's website for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Placement: Ensure the device is placed in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and obstructions that could block Wi-Fi signals.
- Reset: If the device is not functioning correctly, you may perform a factory reset by pressing and holding the reset button (usually a small pinhole) for 5-10 seconds while the device is powered on. This will revert all settings to default.
Troubleshooting
- No Internet Access:
- Check if your main router has internet access.
- Ensure the Repeater is properly configured for its operating mode.
- Verify that the Repeater is within range of your main router (for Repeater Mode).
- Try restarting both your router and the Repeater.
- Weak Signal:
- Relocate the Repeater closer to your main router or in a more central location.
- Avoid placing the Repeater near large metal objects, concrete walls, or other electronic devices that may cause interference.
- Use the intelligent signal indicator to find the optimal placement.
- Cannot Access Web Management Page:
- Ensure your device is connected to the Repeater's Wi-Fi network.
- Verify that you are using the correct IP address (192.168.188.1) and login credentials.
- Clear your browser's cache or try a different browser.
- Perform a factory reset if necessary.
- WPS Setup Fails:
- Ensure your main router supports WPS and that it is enabled.
- Press the WPS buttons on both devices within the specified time frame (usually 2 minutes).
- Try the web browser setup method instead.
