Product Features
- 5 Ways To Unlock: The keyless entry door lock supports unlocking via APP, fingerprints, passwords, IC cards, and mechanical keys. It can store up to 100 fingerprints and 100 passwords, including temporary passwords for guests.

Installation Guide
Before beginning installation, ensure your door meets the specified dimensions for compatibility. No special tools are required beyond a small screwdriver.
Step-by-Step Installation:
- Install connecting rods and route the wire through the spindle.

- Remove the cover screw of the interior handle and pull out the cover. Insert 4 brand new AAA batteries (not included) according to the positive and negative poles.

- Install the latch with the latch/strike screws.

- Align the exterior handle lock horizontally with the hole and insert it into the Latch. Align the mounting screws with the connecting rods, and tighten them with a screwdriver to secure the internal handle.

- Connect the door lock circuit board port.

- Tighten the cover screw to secure the battery cover.

Door Compatibility:
The XCOUI Smart Fingerprint Door Lock is designed to fit standard US doors. Please verify your door's dimensions against the following:
- Door Hole: 2-1/8" (54 mm)
- Backset: 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" (60 or 70 mm)
- Latch Hole: 1" (25 mm)
- Door Thickness: 1-3/8" to 2" (35 mm to 50 mm)

Operating Instructions
App Setup and Device Pairing:
- Reset the lock: Press and hold the reset button with the reset pin until the door lock beeps 9 times, then release the button.

- Log in to Tuya Smart APP: Light up the lock, bring your phone close to the lock, and add the device.

- Add Device: After the door lock is recognized, add it and wait for a moment.

- Add Unlocking Methods: After successful connection, you can add passwords, IC cards, and fingerprints to your door lock via the app.

Unlocking Methods:
- Fingerprint Unlocking: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will quickly identify and unlock.

- Password Unlocking: Enter your registered password on the keypad.

- IC Card Unlocking: Tap your registered IC card on the designated area of the lock.

- Mechanical Key Unlocking: Insert the mechanical key into the keyhole and turn to unlock. This is for emergency use.

- App Unlocking: Use the Tuya Smart APP on your smartphone to remotely unlock the door.

Special Modes:
- Passage Mode: To activate, press and hold the button on the interior handle lock for 2 seconds. The door will remain unlocked. Press and hold the button again to deactivate.

- Anti-Peeping Password: When entering your password, you can input any random numbers before or after your actual password (total length not exceeding 20 digits). The lock will still recognize the correct sequence and unlock, preventing others from guessing your code.

- Silent Mode: The volume of the lock's sounds can be adjusted via the APP. This allows for a quieter operation, especially useful during nighttime or when quiet is desired.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement:
The XCOUI Smart Fingerprint Door Lock requires 4 AAA batteries (not included). The remaining battery power is displayed in the Tuya Smart APP. When the battery is low, the lock will provide an alert.
- Replace batteries promptly when the low battery warning appears to ensure continuous operation.
- To replace, remove the interior handle cover, replace the 4 AAA batteries, and re-secure the cover.
Emergency Power:
If the batteries are completely exhausted and you cannot unlock the door, you can use a Type-C data cable to connect the lock to a power bank for temporary charging. This will provide enough power to unlock the door, allowing you to replace the batteries immediately.

Cleaning:
Wipe the lock surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
Troubleshooting
