Operating Instructions
1. Basic Operation
- Power On: Connect the power supply and press the POWER button. The power indicator will light up.
- Gain Adjustment: For each channel, adjust the GAIN knob to set the input level. Aim for the PEAK indicator to flash only occasionally, avoiding constant illumination which indicates clipping.
- Equalization (EQ): Use the HIGH and LOW knobs to adjust the treble and bass frequencies for each channel.
- Volume Control: Use the channel VOL slider to control the individual channel volume.
- Main Output Volume: Adjust the MAIN volume knob to control the overall output level.
- Headphone Monitoring: Connect headphones to the PHONE jack and adjust the PHONE volume knob for monitoring.
2. Using 48V Phantom Power
The mixer provides +48V phantom power for condenser microphones on channels 1 and 2. To activate, ensure your condenser microphone is connected, then press the +48V PHANTOM(1-2) button. The indicator light next to the button will illuminate. Caution: Do not activate phantom power when dynamic microphones or other non-phantom powered devices are connected, as this may cause damage.
3. Bluetooth Playback
To stream audio wirelessly via Bluetooth:
- Ensure the mixer is powered on.
- Press the MODE/BT button until "Bluetooth" is displayed on the screen. The Bluetooth indicator will flash, indicating pairing mode.
- On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, search for "MG04" (or similar name) in the Bluetooth settings and pair with it.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing. You can now play audio from your device through the mixer.
- Use the playback control buttons (Play/Pause, Previous, Next) on the mixer to control your audio.

- Computer Connection (USB Audio Interface): Connect the mixer to your computer via a USB cable. The mixer will be recognized as an audio input/output device. You can then use it for recording audio from the mixer's inputs or playing back audio from your computer through the mixer.
