Package Contents
- Main Display Unit
- Outdoor Remote Sensor
- USB Power Cable (for main unit)
- Instruction Manual
Note: 3 x AAA batteries for the main unit and 2 x AA batteries for the remote sensor are not included and must be purchased separately.
Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Main Display Unit: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. Insert 3 x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment. Alternatively, the main unit can be powered via the included USB cable.
- Outdoor Remote Sensor: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote sensor. Insert 2 x AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
2. Sensor Placement
For optimal accuracy, place the outdoor remote sensor in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight and heavy rain. This prevents inaccurate temperature readings due to solar radiation or moisture. The sensor has a range of up to 330 feet (100 meters) from the main unit.
3. Pairing and Channel Selection
The main unit and remote sensor should automatically pair once both are powered on. If you are using multiple remote sensors (up to 3 supported), ensure each sensor is set to a different channel (1, 2, or 3) using the switch inside its battery compartment. Use the 'CHANNEL' button on the main unit to cycle through the sensor readings.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the unit and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both the main unit and remote sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove all batteries.
Troubleshooting
- No Outdoor Reading: Ensure the remote sensor batteries are correctly installed and the sensor is within range of the main unit. Try re-pairing by removing and reinserting batteries in both units.
- Inaccurate Readings: Verify the remote sensor is placed in a shaded, well-ventilated area, away from heat sources or direct sunlight. Allow time for the sensors to stabilize after initial setup or battery replacement.
- Display Issues: Check battery levels or ensure the USB power cable is securely connected.
