Setup and Installation

Installation Steps:

  1. Turn off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the light fixture's power supply and turn it OFF. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
  2. Prepare Mounting: Remove the old fixture if applicable. Attach the mounting crossbar to the junction box using the provided mounting screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  3. Wiring Connections:
    • Connect the fixture's bare copper ground wire to the green or bare copper ground wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
    • Connect the fixture's white wire (neutral) to the white wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
    • Connect the fixture's black wire (hot) to the black wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
    • Wrap electrical tape around each wire nut connection for added security.
  4. Mount Fixture: Carefully push the wired connections into the junction box. Align the fixture canopy with the mounting screws on the crossbar and secure the fixture in place with the decorative nuts or screws provided.
  5. Attach Glass Shades: Carefully attach each of the five glass shades to the fixture according to the design. Ensure they are seated properly and secured.
  6. Install Bulbs: Insert five incandescent bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Refer to the specifications for the maximum wattage.
  7. Restore Power: Turn the power back ON at the circuit breaker. Test the fixture to ensure it functions correctly.
