- Temperature Exposure: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or strong magnetic fields.
- Battery: The watch is equipped with a 10-year battery. When the display becomes dim or the light function weakens, it may be time for a battery replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by an authorized Casio service center to ensure water resistance is maintained.
5. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Display is blank or dim. | The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery. |
| Time is incorrect. | Re-set the time and date following the "Setting the Time and Date" instructions. Check for correct AM/PM setting if in 12-hour format. |
| Buttons do not respond. | The watch may be in a specific mode that restricts button functions, or the battery is extremely low. Try pressing and holding all four buttons simultaneously for a few seconds to perform a soft reset (this may clear settings). If unresponsive, replace the battery. |
| Moon data or fishing level is inaccurate. | Ensure your home city's longitude and time zone are correctly set in the watch's settings. |
| Alarm does not sound. | Verify that the alarm is turned "ON" in the Alarm Mode. Check the volume setting if applicable (this model does not have adjustable volume, only on/off). |
