5. Operation

  1. Power On: Flip the power switch to the ON position. The digital display will illuminate.
  2. Adjust Temperature: Use the TEMP up/down buttons to set the desired temperature. The temperature range is 100℃ to 500℃ (212℉ to 932℉). The display shows the current temperature. The station supports Celsius/Fahrenheit conversion.
  3. Adjust Airflow: Use the AIR up/down buttons to set the desired airflow intensity. The brushless turbo fan provides a wind power of approximately 250cm/s.
  4. Using Preset Channels:
    • To save a setting: Adjust temperature and airflow to your desired values. Press and hold one of the CH1, CH2, or CH3 buttons until the display indicates the setting is saved.
    • To recall a setting: Briefly press the corresponding CH1, CH2, or CH3 button. The station will automatically adjust to the saved temperature and airflow.
  5. Automatic Magnetic Induction Dormancy: When the hot air gun is placed into the magnetic dormancy bracket, the station will automatically enter a dormancy state, reducing temperature and airflow to cool down the gun and conserve energy. When the gun is picked up from the bracket, it will automatically return to the previously set working parameters.
  6. Password Setting (Optional): The station features a password protection key lock to prevent accidental adjustment of settings. Refer to the specific instructions in the full manual for setting and managing the password.
  7. Power Off: After use, place the hot air gun in its bracket to allow it to cool down. Once cooled, flip the power switch to the OFF position and unplug the unit from the power outlet.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your rework station:

  • Cleaning: Ensure the station is unplugged and completely cooled before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Nozzle Cleaning: Periodically clean the air nozzles to prevent blockages. Ensure they are free from solder residue or debris.
  • Air Filter (if applicable): Check and clean or replace the air filter if your model is equipped with one, as per the full manual's instructions. This maintains optimal airflow.
  • Storage: Store the station in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use.
