5. Setup
Follow these steps to prepare your sewing machine for operation:
- Placement: Place the sewing machine on a stable, flat surface.
- Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the DC 6V input port on the back of the machine (refer to Figure 4.2) and then plug it into a wall outlet.
- Foot Pedal Connection: Insert the foot pedal plug into the designated port next to the power input (refer to Figure 4.2).
- Threading: Follow the threading guides indicated on the machine. Ensure the upper thread is correctly routed through all tension discs and guides, and the bobbin is properly wound and inserted into its case.

6. Operating Instructions
This section details how to operate your sewing machine for various tasks.
6.1 Stitch Selection
Your machine offers 12 different stitch patterns. Rotate the stitch selector dial (visible in Figure 4.1) to choose the desired stitch. Refer to the stitch guide below for visual representation.

6.2 Basic Sewing
- Place your fabric under the presser foot.
- Lower the presser foot lever.
- Gently press the foot pedal to start sewing. Control the speed with the pressure applied to the pedal.
- To reinforce a seam, use the reverse stitch lever (refer to Figure 4.3) to sew backward a few stitches at the beginning and end of your seam.
6.3 Thread Cutting
After completing a seam, lift the presser foot and pull the fabric towards the integrated thread cutter located on the side of the machine. This allows for convenient thread trimming without needing scissors.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sewing machine.
- Cleaning: Use a soft brush to remove lint and dust from the bobbin area and feed dogs after each use.
- Needle Replacement: Replace the needle regularly, especially if it becomes bent, dull, or if you experience skipped stitches. Ensure the machine is unplugged before changing the needle.
- Storage: Store the machine in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use.
