3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your ESP32-CAM Development Board and Type-C Tester:

3.1. Assembling the ESP32-CAM Module

  1. Connect the OV2640 Camera Module: Gently insert the ribbon cable of the OV2640 camera module into the camera connector on the ESP32-CAM board. Ensure the connection is secure and correctly oriented.
  2. Attach the External Antenna: Connect the 20CM IPEX to RP-SMA Pigtail Cable to the IPEX connector on the ESP32-CAM board. Then, screw the 8dBi Dual-Band Antenna onto the RP-SMA connector of the pigtail cable. This external antenna enhances Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signal strength.

4.1. ESP32-CAM Web Interface Operation

Once connected to the ESP32-CAM's web interface (192.168.4.1), you can control various camera settings:

  • Resolution: Adjust the image resolution (e.g., CIF, VGA, SVGA, XGA, SXGA, UXGA).
  • Quality: Control the JPEG compression quality.
  • Brightness, Contrast, Saturation: Fine-tune image appearance.

  • Cannot Access Web Interface (192.168.4.1):

  • No Camera Feed/Black Screen:
