8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your water heater, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions. If the problem persists, contact customer support.

ProblemPossible Cause & Solution
No hot water / Unit not turning on
  • No power: Check the circuit breaker (ensure it's a 50A Double Pole breaker) and electrical connections. Verify the unit is hardwired correctly.
  • Water supply off: Ensure the cold water inlet valve is fully open.
  • Low water pressure: The unit requires sufficient water flow to activate. Check water pressure.
Water not hot enough
  • Temperature setting too low: Increase the set temperature using the UP button on the unit or remote.
  • Excessive flow rate: Reduce the water flow at the faucet to allow the heater more time to heat the water.
  • Inlet water temperature too low: In very cold climates, the unit may struggle to reach maximum temperature at high flow rates.
Unit blows fuses/trips breaker
  • Incorrect electrical setup: This unit requires a dedicated 50A Double Pole Circuit Breaker and 6AWG wiring. If your electrical system does not meet these specifications, it will trip the breaker. Consult a professional electrician to verify your electrical setup.
  • Overload: Ensure no other high-power appliances are on the same circuit.
Cannot change ℃ to ℉
  • Incorrect procedure: Turn on the water heater, then press and hold the ON/OFF key for a few seconds until the display unit changes.
Water leakage
  • Loose connections: Check all water inlet and outlet connections for tightness.
  • Damaged plumbing: Inspect the plumbing lines for cracks or damage.
  • Internal fault: If leakage persists after checking connections, discontinue use and contact customer support.
