4. Setup and Installation
The CT CAPETRONIX Under Cabinet Lights offer three installation methods to suit various surfaces.
4.1 Charging the Light
Before first use, fully charge the light using the provided charging cable. The charging port is located on the side of the light next to the control buttons.

4.2 Installation Methods
- Magnetic Adsorption (for Metal Surfaces):
Simply attach the light directly to any metal surface. The built-in magnet will securely hold it in place.
- Magnetic Adhesive Patch (for Non-Metal Surfaces):
Peel off the protective film from the magnetic adhesive patch. Stick the adhesive side firmly onto the desired clean, smooth non-metal surface. Then, attach the light to the magnetic side of the patch.
- ABS Buckle Installation (for Secure Mounting):
For a more permanent and secure installation, use the provided ABS buckles and screws. Position the buckles where you want to mount the light, mark the screw holes, drill pilot holes if necessary, and then fasten the buckles with screws. Once the buckles are installed, snap the light into place.

5. Operating Instructions
Your under cabinet light features intuitive controls for adjusting brightness, color temperature, and lighting modes.
5.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The light has a power button and a mode button. Press the power button to turn the light on or off. Use the mode button to cycle through the three lighting modes:
- Night Sensing Mode: The light will only activate in dark environments when motion is detected.
- All-day Sensing Mode: The light will activate when motion is detected, regardless of ambient light conditions.
- Always-on Mode: The light remains continuously illuminated until manually turned off.

5.2 Adjusting Brightness (Dimming)
In Always-on Mode, you can adjust the brightness from 10% to 100%. Press and hold the dimming button (often integrated with the power/mode button or a separate touch control) to smoothly increase or decrease the light intensity. Release the button when the desired brightness is reached.

5.3 Changing Color Temperature
The light offers three color temperature options: Cool White, Natural White, and Warm White. Press the color temperature button (often integrated with the power/mode button or a separate touch control) to cycle through these options until you find the preferred light tone.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Charging
When the battery is low, the light's indicator will signal the need for charging. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the light's charging port and a compatible USB power source. A full charge typically takes a few hours. Disconnect the cable once charging is complete.
6.2 Cleaning
To clean the light, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the light in water, as it is not water-resistant.
