Display Indicators:

Setup and Powering the Device

Battery Installation and Charging:

The Huepar S60-G supports three power methods: rechargeable NiMh batteries (included), direct USB-C charging, and standard AA batteries (not included).

1. Rechargeable NiMh Batteries: The device comes with two 1200mAh rechargeable NiMh batteries. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device and insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators.
2. USB-C Charging: Connect the provided USB-C cable to the device's USB-C port and to a standard USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator on the screen will show charging status. The device can be powered directly via USB-C even without batteries.
3. AA Battery Compatibility: For alternative power, the device is compatible with standard AA batteries. Insert them into the battery compartment following polarity.

The device features an automatic shutdown function after 180 seconds of inactivity to conserve power.

Operating Instructions

Turning On/Off:

• Turn On: Press the Green Triangle button once. The laser will activate.
• Turn Off: Long press the OFF button. The device will also automatically shut down after 180 seconds of inactivity.

Switching Measurement Units:

The Huepar S60-G supports switching between meters, feet, inches, and feet+inches for measurement display.

To switch between measurement units (meters, feet, inches, feet+inches), long press the U- button.

Setting Reference Points:

The Huepar S60-G allows measurements from the front, middle (tripod mount), or rear of the device.

The device can measure from three different reference points:

• Front Reference: Measures from the top edge of the device.
• Middle Reference: Measures from the 1/4-inch tripod mount. Ideal when using a tripod.
• Rear Reference: Measures from the bottom edge of the device. This is the default setting.

Press the + button to cycle through the reference points. The active reference point is indicated on the display.

Measurement Modes:

The Huepar S60-G offers a comprehensive suite of measurement modes for diverse applications.

Press the Mode (Grid Icon) button to cycle through the following measurement functions:

1. Single Distance Measurement:

   Press the Green Triangle button once to activate the laser. Press it again to take a measurement. The result will be displayed.

2. Continuous Measurement (Tracking):

   In single distance mode, long press the Green Triangle button. The device will continuously measure the distance, displaying real-time values. Press again to stop.
3. Area Measurement:

   Select Area mode. Take two consecutive distance measurements (length and width). The device will automatically calculate and display the area.

4. Volume Measurement:

   Select Volume mode. Take three consecutive distance measurements (length, width, and height). The device will automatically calculate and display the volume.

5. Pythagorean Measurement (Indirect Measurement):

   The device supports 4 different Pythagorean modes for indirect height or length measurements. Follow the on-screen prompts to take the required measurements (e.g., hypotenuse and one leg) and the device will calculate the unknown side.
6. Real-Time Angle Sensor:
   

   The integrated angle sensor provides real-time vertical and horizontal angle readings, enhancing measurement accuracy.

   The built-in digital tilt angle sensor provides real-time angle readings (X for vertical, Y for horizontal) with an accuracy of ±1°. This feature is active in various measurement modes and improves the accuracy of indirect measurements.

7. Addition and Subtraction:

   After taking a measurement, press the + or - button to add or subtract subsequent measurements. This is useful for calculating total lengths or remaining distances.
8. Data Memory:

   The device can store up to 30 groups of measurement data. Review stored data by pressing the appropriate button (refer to the Product Overview diagram for specific button functions related to memory).

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the laser lens is clean for accurate measurements.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, remove the batteries.
