2. Setup

The momen Switch Handheld Controller is designed for simple, wired plug-and-play functionality.

2.1 Initial Connection

  1. Carefully slide your Nintendo Switch or Switch OLED console into the central slot of the controller. Ensure it is securely seated.
  2. Connect the controller to your Switch console via the integrated USB-C connector.
  3. For proper functionality, navigate to your Switch's System Settings.
  4. Select 'Controllers and Sensors'.
  5. Ensure 'Pro Controller Wired Communication' is set to 'On'. This enables the controller to function correctly.

2.2 Charging While Playing

The controller supports charging your Switch console while in use. Simply connect a USB-C charging cable to the port located at the bottom of the controller.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 LED Lighting Control

The controller features adjustable LED lights with 8 vibrant colors and multiple light modes to enhance your gaming atmosphere.

  • Change LED Color: Press the 'T' button once to cycle through 8 different LED colors.
  • Change LED Mode: Press the 'T' button twice quickly to switch between 3 light modes: Palette, Rainbow, and Breathing.
  • Adjust Brightness: Press the 'T' button and the Right Analog Stick (R3) simultaneously to adjust the LED brightness (20%, 50%, 70%, 100%).
  • Turn Off Lights: Press the 'T' button three times quickly to turn off the LED lights.

3.2 Turbo Function

The controller supports manual and automatic turbo functions for rapid-fire actions.

  • Setting Turbo: Press and hold the 'T' button, then press the desired action button (A/B/X/Y/L/R/ZL/ZR) to enable manual turbo.
  • Auto Turbo: Press the 'T' button and the action button a second time to enable auto turbo.
  • Clear Turbo: Press the 'T' button and the action button a third time to clear the turbo function for that button. To clear all turbo functions, press and hold the 'T' button for 5 seconds.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Controller Not Connecting or Staying Connected

If the controller is not connecting or frequently disconnects, ensure the 'Pro Controller Wired Communication' setting on your Nintendo Switch is enabled.

  • Go to your Switch's System Settings.
  • Select 'Controllers and Sensors'.
  • Verify that 'Pro Controller Wired Communication' is set to 'On'. If it is off, toggle it to 'On'.
  • Ensure the Switch console is fully and securely inserted into the controller's slot.
  • Try restarting your Nintendo Switch console.

5.2 No Vibration or Motion Control
