2. Safety Guidelines

Your cat's safety is our top priority. This litter box is equipped with multiple security protections to ensure safe operation:

• Safe Induction Motor: Device protection to prevent malfunctions.
• Physical Separation Anti-Clip Device: Designed to prevent cats from getting caught during operation.
• Gravity Sensing Device: Four sensors detect your cat's presence. The cleaning cycle will automatically stop if a cat enters the unit during operation.

Important: Do not place mats or blankets directly under the machine, as this may interfere with the weight sensors and affect proper operation.

4. Setup Guide

4.1 Initial Placement

Place the litter box on a firm, level surface. Avoid placing it on soft surfaces like thick carpets or blankets, as this can interfere with the internal weight sensors. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper ventilation and access for cleaning.

4.2 Litter Compatibility

The BCHARYA litter box is compatible with most common types of clumping cat litter. This includes Bentonite, Mixed, Plant-based, and Sodium-based litters. Ensure the litter forms solid clumps for optimal cleaning performance.

4.3 Wi-Fi Connection Settings

To utilize the smart app control features, connect your litter box to a 2.4G Wi-Fi network. The device does not support 5G networks.

1. Download the "Tuya Smart" APP from your device's app store. Register and log in.
2. Plug in and power on the litter box. Long press the button on the unit to restart the box until you hear a ringtone.
3. On your phone, turn on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and location functions. In the Tuya Smart app, select "Add Device" and enter your 2.4G Wi-Fi password.
4. Wait for a moment until the connection is successful. Once connected, you can freely operate the cat litter box through the app.

5. Operation

5.1 Automatic Cleaning Cycle

The litter box automatically initiates a cleaning cycle after your cat uses it and exits the unit. The internal sensors detect the cat's presence and ensure the cycle does not begin until the cat is safely out of the drum.

5.2 App Control Features

The Tuya Smart app provides comprehensive control and monitoring capabilities:

• Reset: Resets the unit's status.
• Deodorize: Activates the odor removal function via the separate aromatherapy box.
• Clearance: Initiates a cleaning cycle.
• Clean: Performs a cleaning cycle.
• Real-time Data: Monitor usage logs, working status, and cat weight.
• Scene Tasks: Create custom schedules or triggers for cleaning based on conditions like weather changes or location changes.

5.3 Indicator Lights

The unit features multi-color indicator lights to communicate its status:

• White: The network connection is normal.
• Blue: The device is in network configuration state.
• Purple: The network is not connected successfully or is currently connecting to the network.

5.4 Sensor System

The litter box incorporates advanced sensors for optimal performance and safety:

• Radar Sensor: Provides 360° all-round sensing for comprehensive detection.
• Weight Sensor: Four weight sensors on the base accurately sense your cat's weight, contributing to health tracking and safe operation.

6. Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and hygiene. The unit is designed for easy cleaning.

6.1 Emptying the Waste Bin

The 10L drawer capacity allows for up to 15-25 days of hands-free scooping. It is recommended to check the waste bin every three days. To empty:

1. Open the cover of the waste bin drawer located at the bottom front of the unit.
2. Carefully pull out the drawer.
3. Tie the included liner bag securely and dispose of it. Replace with a new liner.

6.2 Detachable and Washable Components

For thorough cleaning, the main components of the litter box are detachable and washable.

1. Ensure the unit is powered off and unplugged.
2. Remove the top cover of the unit.
3. Carefully lift and remove the inner drum.
4. Both the drum and the waste bin can be directly washed with water. Use mild soap if necessary and rinse thoroughly.
5. Allow all components to dry completely before reassembling.

7. Troubleshooting

• Unit not cleaning or stopping mid-cycle:
  - Check if a cat is inside the unit. The safety sensors will halt operation if a cat is detected.
  - Ensure the unit is on a firm, level surface. Soft surfaces like thick carpets can interfere with weight sensors. If on carpet, consider placing an 18" x 18" ceramic tile underneath.
  - Verify that all protective tapes, especially from sensors/feet at the bottom, have been removed.
• App connection issues:
  - Confirm your Wi-Fi network is 2.4G. The device does not support 5G.
  - Ensure Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and location services are enabled on your phone.
  - Try long-pressing the button on the unit to restart it and re-attempt connection in the app.
• Odor persistence:
  - Ensure the aromatherapy box is properly filled and functioning.
  - Regularly empty the waste bin (recommended every 3 days) to prevent odor buildup.
• Litter not clumping or cleaning effectively:
  - Ensure you are using a high-quality clumping litter.
  - Some litter types may not form solid clumps near the edges; occasional manual spot cleaning with the included brush may be necessary.
