Key Features:

  • Wide Measuring Range: Measures AC voltage from 80V to 300V and AC current from 0A to 100A.
  • High Accuracy: Provides measurements with an accuracy of 1% ± 2 digits.
  • Dual Color LED Display: Voltage displayed in red, current in green for easy differentiation.
  • Integrated Current Transformer: Includes a precise CT, eliminating the need for a separate purchase.
  • Compact Design: Ultra-small size (68x42x38mm / 2.68×1.65×1.5 inches) for flexible installation.
  • No External Power Supply: Operates directly from the measured AC voltage.

2. Safety Information

WARNING: Electrical shock hazard. Installation should only be performed by qualified personnel. Always disconnect power before installation or maintenance.

  • Ensure all power is disconnected at the main circuit breaker before attempting any wiring.
  • This meter is designed for use with pure AC 50-60Hz power supplies only. Do not use with square wave, inverter output, or modified sine wave circuits, as this will damage the meter.
  • Verify correct wiring connections as shown in the installation diagram to prevent damage to the instrument or electrical hazards.
  • Do not exceed the specified voltage (AC 80-300V) or current (100A) ratings.
  • Operate within the specified temperature range of 14°F~149°F (-10℃ ~ 65℃).

3. Setup and Installation

Careful installation is essential for proper function and safety. Refer to the wiring diagram below.

Installation Steps:

  1. Power Disconnection: Turn off the main power supply to the circuit where the meter will be installed. Confirm power is off using a voltage tester.
  2. Panel Cutout: Create an installation hole of 68x38mm (2.68×1.5 inches) in your panel or enclosure.
  3. Voltage Input Wiring: Connect the AC 80-300V power supply (live wire and neutral wire) to the two green terminals labeled 'voltage' on the meter. These terminals also power the meter.
  4. Current Transformer (CT) Installation:
    • Pass the live wire of the load circuit through the hole in the middle of the current transformer (CT). Ensure only the live wire passes through the CT.
    • Connect the two blue wires from the CT to the two blue terminals labeled 'current' on the meter. The polarity of these wires does not matter.
  5. Secure the Meter: Insert the meter into the panel cutout and secure it in place.
  6. Final Check: Double-check all wiring connections against the diagram to ensure they are correct and secure.
  7. Power Restoration: Restore power to the circuit. The meter should power on and display voltage and current readings.

Important Note: Connecting the voltage input and CT secondary wires incorrectly will damage the instrument.

4. Operating Instructions

Once properly installed and powered, the KETOTEK Digital AC Ammeter Voltmeter operates automatically.

Reading the Display:

  • The upper display, illuminated in red, indicates the AC Voltage (V).
  • The lower display, illuminated in green, indicates the AC Current (A).

The meter continuously monitors and displays the real-time voltage and current of the connected AC circuit. No user interaction is required for basic operation.

5. Maintenance

The KETOTEK Digital AC Ammeter Voltmeter requires minimal maintenance.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the display and casing. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Environmental Conditions: Ensure the meter is operated within its specified temperature range (14°F~149°F / -10℃ ~ 65℃) and in a dry environment to prevent damage.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the wiring connections for any signs of wear, corrosion, or loosening. Address any issues promptly after disconnecting power.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your KETOTEK Digital AC Ammeter Voltmeter, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No display or incorrect voltage reading. No power to voltage input terminals, incorrect voltage wiring, or voltage outside specified range.Verify power supply to the green voltage input terminals (AC 80-300V). Check wiring connections for continuity and correct polarity. Ensure the measured voltage is within the 80-300V AC range.
Incorrect current reading or 0.00A displayed when load is active.CT not correctly installed, CT wires disconnected, or current too low to register.Ensure the live wire of the load passes through the CT. Verify the blue CT wires are securely connected to the meter's current terminals. Confirm the load is drawing current.
Meter damaged or erratic readings.Used with incompatible power supply (e.g., square wave, inverter output, modified sine wave) or incorrect wiring. This meter is only for pure AC 50-60Hz. Discontinue use if an incompatible power source is suspected. Review wiring diagram carefully for any errors. If damage has occurred, replacement may be necessary.
